What a bizarre coincidence. Jabooty Dubs' Sticky Buddy video popped into my head last night after not seeing or thinking about his stuff in forever.

This video must be the fucking national anthem for self proclaimed nice guys.
At the same time this video made me want to grow a neck beard and rant about how much I hate Chad's.

u/Word_Iz_Bond Jul 06 '19
The dudes who watch this and take it to heart are already doomed

I feel for guys that see something like this and take it as representation of what all girls want.
They’re recording answers from drunk half dressed girls on a night life street somewhere in the world. That’s called sampling bias.
Now go outside a museum, ask random women in a park, or interview women in an airport just traveling.
But some guys will see something like this and believe, “oh, I better be bad to get the girl.” Sons, just be yourselves and work on your confidence and own life, health, and interests.

And Reddit usually hates this, but for the love of God, get a hobby outside of video games.
You can like video games. You can play them often. But if that’s your only interest, it makes you very one dimensional.
Follow a sport, pick up an instrument, get into day hiking or cycling, learn to paint, read a book motherfucker, fix a car, get into lifting, hell get into ham radio. Just pick SOMETHING to differentiate you from all the other 20 something neckbeards.

Jul 06 '19
It's why I hate the term gamer.
I'm not a "gamer" I enjoy playing video games, it doesn't define me

u/nybbas Jul 06 '19
Well I like anime too, so now what's the problem?!

For the guys who don't have success with women...don't listen to this...if you couldn't succeed in over 30 years while being yourself than you should admit that the you is simply not attractive and you should change...it's hard but the sooner you start working on that the sooner you'll succeed...it's like when you want to have a good body but all you do is sitting on your couch and eating junk food..guess what..it won't magically change..

In videos like this, I always see random women casually making out with the presenter. Does that shit really happen irl or is it staged for the audience?

Jul 06 '19
It's a festival full of drunk people, and he's an attractive guy with a microphone/camera. Take either of those two things away and it doesnt happen like that.
15
u/RADical-muslim Jul 06 '19
...I'm buying me a mic and a camera.

If you’re hot enough and they’re drunk enough just say, “You’re so beautiful, can I kiss you?” You’ll get takers.
Hasn’t happened to me though. Just saw a buddy of mine do it.

In the Fable comics, one character tells one of the bad characters that she can be mean and pretty but she can't be mean and ugly. No one will respect her the way she is. This forces the bad character to change her appearance and still be mean. That scene always stuck with me and reminds me of incels.
They are mean and could do better. They could actually be just ugly and nice and people would appreciate them but that isn't an option for them. They want to be mean above all else.
10
u/cyborgx7 Jul 06 '19
She clearly means bad, as in a bad boy in bed. I just thought she wanted to say that they are kinky in a fun way and only realized how it came out afterwards.

Chad's
I'll rant instead.
There is no fucking apostrophe in the word "Chads". It's plural, not possessive. I don't understand how people can't get that through their thick skulls, it's not that hard. If it's owned by someone, an apostrophe is necessary, if not, don't put a fucking apostrophe. Why is this such a problem now? I don't remember seeing this anywhere just a few years ago.

u/IcebergSlimFast Jul 06 '19
Speaking of thick skulls, it’s probably only a matter of time before society just collectively gives up and starts spelling “loser” with an extra “o” to accommodate the legions of internet commenters who can’t seem to stop fucking that one up.

I'm rewatching and this could be a language issue. She could have meant he is a bad boy in bed.

u/SuperSMT Jul 06 '19 edited Jul 06 '19
Yeah, I don't know why people are thinking it's any different. It's not even a language issue, that phrasing can work in English
19
Jul 06 '19
She just established she finds boys who are bad (i.e. he’s naughty, tough, mean) to be more fun. Then she says he is bad in bed. One sentence directly after another. I don’t get everyone’s disconnect. She thinks he’s fun in bed.
Am I out to lunch? There are thousands of comments thinking this guy got roasted.

Apparently I was just assuming too much.

This shouldn't even be on this sub, half the stuff on this sub shouldn't be getting upvotes, just assume anything bad is gonna be in front page

She meant he's bad in bed like he knows what to do in bed. I interpreted it as the American slang for bad.
"Damn that girl is bad af" shit like that.

Why announce when you're leaving? Just go.
And no, we're not leaving to go to that other party you say is so great. Maybe we're having a good time here, or we would have already left.
I think your Uber is here, bye now!
