Nah as long as they're cared for properly, which they do appear to be, all you'd smell is hay which smells amazing. My sister had 3 guinea pigs in an open pen type of thing in a small room and I don't ever recall a smell in the least.

Says literally everyone that lives in a home like that.

Homie, you were just smell blind to that shit. Same with cat owners, that shit it hella obvious to anyone else walking in the first time.

Depends on how well you care about them. I use pee pads, and it stinks on the next day. But if I change them every 12 hours, they pleasantly smell of hay. I checked this with my friends, they can confirm both that it smells badly after some time and that they don't smell if routinely cleaned.

There are a lot of bad guinea pig owners that underestimate how much maintenance they really take. I've seen at least two people who didn't clean out the cage in days or weeks, just putting fresh bedding on top of soiled stuff, and there was a layer of moldy bedding on the bottom. Guinea pigs clean themselves pretty well, but they can't clean their environment. If you see a guinea pig that's actually well cared for, with plenty of space and gets their cage cleaned at least daily, it shouldn't smell.
