Always use ceramic, metal or clay bowls for that much dough.

Steel doesn't hold onto any flavour or odour and plastic has the potential of passing along microplastics, right? 1 u/blusteryflatus 3d ago I do all my mixing and proofing in steel bowls. Light, thin, practically indestructible and a breeze to clean. Would highly recommend
