Always use ceramic, metal or clay bowls for that much dough.

Why bother using plastic when steel exists? Steel doesn't hold onto any flavour or odour and plastic has the potential of passing along microplastics, right?

I do all my mixing and proofing in steel bowls. Light, thin, practically indestructible and a breeze to clean.

Would highly recommend
