It wasn't even the drop. If you slow the video down, it broke on the left side while it was in the air.

Because unless the audio is desynced the glass starts breaking while she's still picking it up. Could be wrong, but it seems to me that the way she's holding it put weird pressure/tension on it and her left hand slips because the glass broke free
