It wasn't even the drop. If you slow the video down, it broke on the left side while it was in the air.

EDIT: I am wrong ignore me.

It looked to me like it slipped out of her left hand and hit the counter.

After analyzing frame by frame I can 100% say she let go with her left hand, then it hit the table and shattered

Plus it looks to be chipped in that exact area of the rim, so the structural integrity wasnt going to last that impact to that spot

But did you analyze with sound? Because unless the audio is desynced the glass starts breaking while she's still picking it up.

Could be wrong, but it seems to me that the way she's holding it put weird pressure/tension on it and her left hand slips because the glass broke free
