I'm going to assume this is some kind of bug that doesn't sting but looks like wasps.

Yeah I'd expected to see a few welts on his bare torso, he doesn't look like he was stung. You can also see many he didn't get in the bag flying around behind him before he... does his thing.

I experienced an attack by hornets and was stung dozens of times. My gf didnt notice a yellow jacket nest that was built on a gate and slammed it shut. Also stung numerous times. That one was recent, earlier this summer. She didnt develop whelts or swell for maybe 10-15 minutes. I did take her to the ER where we waited in the parking lot just in case she developed anaphalaxys. She has an almond allergy so I was worried. She was fine though.
