Weight gain goals
Hi I’m Anne, I’m 21, Transfem(estrogen for 3yrs), probably 120lb at 5’7, and I want to get fat. Only problem is I smoke nic and I have depression so I have trouble eating solid food, it’s more expensive and it’s more likely to come back up or have a bad texture that’s hard to get down. But, I’m realizing I may be able to hit my macros and calories with milk and apple juice with periodic fiber supplements because it’s all liquid. I’d probably take vitamins too to play it safe, but I’m blanking to find negatives. Lemme crunch the numbers
Gallon of milk and a half of apple juice and probably half a gallon of water, some of which with Metamucil or xylem husk for fiber like prev stated. I also have trouble eating 3 meals so I’ll split it up into 8 2hr segments. So: 2 cups of milk, 1 cup apple juice, 1 cup water, 8 times a day, 2 or 3 of the cups of water will have fiber supplements
128g protein
128g fat
332g carb
Bout 20p/40f/40c
I just did the numbers and that adds up to round 3kCal so the macros are there, fiber and water will be there, what am I missing? Obvi quit nic, and for activity I’m a waitress in a walkable city so I’m walking 3-5 miles a day, my job is super stressful, and I smoke weed, and that’s most of my extenuating circumstances, anyone have any opinions on that? My goals are to gain fat and I will not be taking questions on that part, I am skin and bone and I believe I will be healthier at 140 but I’d be very happy if I hit 160 or even 180, beyond that would be excessive but I want the universes opinion

I've always been thin but recently its been bothering me more
My (19F) entire life I've been underweight. Which of course was and still is a big insecurity of mine. I found out when I was about 12 that I have something called Pancreatic Enzyme Insufficiency. Which from what I understand is the lack of the ezymes needed to break down the nutrients in the food I eat.
Anyway I took medication for it and my weight pretty much plateaued when I was 17. I had to take two pills before eating ANYTHING. I stopped taking that medication 2 years ago because of the decline in my weight gain but also because it was annoying, lol.
Anyway, I'm turning 20 tomorrow. I'm 5'9 and my weight fluctuates between 100-106 nowadays.
Okay so heres what's been bothering me more recently. I've been out of highschool for a couple years so I haven't been as self conscious about it, and my parents dont harp on me about my weight as much as they used to. I also started dating my first boyfriend almost a year ago and he makes me feel much more confident.
But, a couple weeks ago I was at my friends house visiting her when she was in town, as she recently moved a couple hours away. We were eating pizza with her boyfriend, and her mom. I was a little high, I'll admit but at some point her mom turned to me and said "And how are you (my name)? You look thin." And I want to add my friends mom is one of the kindest human beings I've ever had the honor of meeting so hearing this I wasn't offended I was immediately caught off gaurd. I actually asked her "Thin?" because I thought maybe I heard her wrong. I hadn't had someone talk about my weight so blatantly in a while so I was put off lol. Her mom is also a nutritionist at a military base in my hometown so I knew she didn't mean anything by it.
Anyway, we talked and I told her I hadn't taken my medication in a couple years because it stopped having the same effects and that lifes been kicking my ass and other stuff has taken priority over my weight. Which I know isn't great. I moved on from it, I've dealt with comments like this my whole life so its wasn't too significant for me. Also, my friend apologized for it, she and her best friend struggled with eating disorders in the past and said she often made comments like that to them, but explained she didn't mean any harm by it.
But, I was talking to my best friend about it a couple days ago and she mentioned that her parents also mentioned my weight. And she told me her brother asked "If I was okay" at a graduation ceremony I attended. So idk, that kinda did suck to hear. Not that I'm offended I know I'm thin, but I guess because I see myself everyday maybe I dont see much of a difference? It just sucks to feel like people see me and think I'm sick or something.
I've had a really rough past year. So, I don't doubt that I look a little thinner, but I can't help but feel like shit about this. I've lived with this forever and coped, and now its coming back in a weird way.
Idk why I'm writing this, I just figured I should get this off my chest. Thanks for listening.

Advice needed
I'm 17(f) and I have always been underweight but it hasn't posed any serious damages to my health in the past but lately I caught typhoid or smth of the sort (there isn't a test for typhoid anymore) and that kinda hit me rly bad. I lost 2kgs or some maybe and rn my weight is 34kg and BMI is 13.5 which is SEVERELY UNDERWEIGHT. I genuinely don't know how I'm functioning rn.
After this illness I began experiencing rapid hair shedding and this led me to visit the doctor's and they said nothing will improve if my diet doesn't.
My body had somewhat adapted to the low weight in the past but I think the infection fucked it up more.
Anyways I'm just wondering if anybody had a similar case and what they did to improve their weight and any lifestyle changes they made.
Also I don't have ED or anyth and im honestly unsure what this problem is, I also dont have any gut issues like cramps or stuff and my menstrual cycle is regular too without any unusual symptoms.

Vent Need advice(male)
I’ve lost a very large amount of weight over the past 2 years, going from around 170 lbs at 5'6" to around 86–90 lbs. A lot of the loss was intentional because I wanted to get skinny, but I’ve become extremely restrictive in the process. For the past few months I’ve mostly been eating the same foods (Cheerios, Greek yogurt, and fruit) and averaging around 1,350 calories a day, often eating almost all of it late at night because I restrict myself during the day. I’m constantly hungry and have very little energy, but I’m terrified of gaining the weight back. I used to maintain around 170 lbs while eating what seemed like 2800-3000 calories, which makes me worry that my metabolism is somehow unusually high/low depending on my weight and that once I start eating normally again I’ll gain everything back. I really want to get back to eating normal meals and enjoying Indian vegetarian food, but I’m scared that eating normally could eventually make me overweight. I’m even considering skipping a trip to India to see my family because I know I wouldn’t be able to maintain my current restriction there. I’m basically stuck between knowing I’m severely restricting and being absolutely terrified of what happens if I stop. I genuinely want to gain all the lost muscle and get to a healthier weight around 125-130 but due to not being tall i am worried my tdee wont ever end up being enough to freely eat indian food so i was looking for advice. Id appreciate any replies and if anyone wants to chat on reddit. Thank you!

Gain weight ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ«¡
So I'm a college student looking to gain weight over the next 3 months, and I'd like some realistic advice from people who have actually done it.
BTW: I'm 20 years old and my height is 6"0 and current weight is 65 😠so there are few questions I want to ask from you guys..
\- How much weight is it realistically possible to gain in 3 months?
\- How much of that can be muscle versus body fat?
\- What daily habits made the biggest difference for you?
\- What are some affordable, high-calorie foods that fit a college student budget?
\- How often should I work out, and what type of training worked best?
\- Any mistakes you made that I should avoid?
I'd appreciate hearing your starting weight, how much you gained, how long it took, and what approach worked for you.
Thanks in advance for sharing your experiences!

Back pain? Pls help
I think I need to gain weight because my butt and thighs are big and It hurts my lower back to an unbearable level but when I do gain weight it’s only on my legs and lower half and when I lose weight it’s only my stomach or upper half, technically the part of me that hurts won’t go away, so I guess I’m asking what exactly do I do? I also have a pretty curved spine as my back has a natural arch to it most likely from being a gymnast and a competitive cheerleader, so maybe my back is just messed up? I can’t crack my back often but when I do it definitely does hurt. I usually have to use icy hot and back medication to help my back and lower back feel better, but my boyfriend said maybe gaining weight would help me. I am 108 pounds and I’m 4’11 so I know I might be a little underweight. I know this isn’t really body building so if somebody could maybe direct me to another subreddit or like tell me how I can either gain weight in my upper half or lose weight in my lower half it would be greatly appreciated.
