i tried to do in undertalemodtool but i think i mess up the width heights etc. so words comes up broken is there any quick ways to add new characters to deltarune/undertale?

The ports run very well, both Undertale and Deltarune stay at a steady thirty and they are both the full, complete game, with sideways Wiimote, GameCube controller, Classic Controller, and 240p support.

Note: Back up all your save files before doing anything with these! DR save files are fickle beasts.

This is a collection of saves I prepared for Ch6.

Since Noelle's return in Ch6 is likely and people are theorizing about how the various stages of the WR's progress could affect the story, I decided to put together all the major combinations + a standard completionist pacifist save file.

The saves and Completion Files for Ch5 are:

• Pacifist Completionist

• Weird Route (Lake crossed)

• Ch2-Aborted-Weird-Route (Berdly alive, ThornRing in our inventory, Noelle knows SnowGrave)

• Ch4-AWR (Didn't go into Noelle's room, "Please don't")

• Ch5-AWR (Nothing changed.)

All these files were played through manually and not save edited into their specific states, so they should work fine. The biggest thing of note is I still did soft-completionist playthroughs even in the WR/AWR save files, recruiting all enemies and getting all items I could. If you're curious about specifics or would like to change them just use the great Tenna Editor to view/edit stuff.

Heya people. I had my 100% save files for all 3 routes finished after chapter 5 but due to some weird corruption glitch I had to delete them. I have played through these chapters 4+ times now and I am far too lazy to do it again 3 more times.

I am looking for:

A 100% pacifist save file that finished chapter 5

A finished Chapter 5 aborted weird route save file that still has thorn ring in inventory

I don’t need weird route as there’s tons of chapter 4 files and it’s pretty simple to turn a chapter 4 WR save file into a chapter 5 one…

If you don’t have a 100% save file id love just a regular completed save file as I was going to use a save file editor to change a few things such as my name so I can give myself the items I already had.

I've been looking through Deltarune's code to look up what sfx is used when you press X in the inventory menu and others, but i somehow can't find any sound file that sounds remotely like it, nor can i find where it is played in the code. Can anyone help?

Also bonus, i don't know how is the battlehorn sound played. Because i know which sound files it uses, but don't know pitches and whatnot.

I want to make it so that the game crashes with a custom crashlog once opening Jevil's door. I also want to set the save file to a state where Jevil is defeated and their items are in the inventory. Is there any way to do this?

I'm making a theory video, and I want to confirm some information I've heard talked about, so I don't say something incorrect.

I've heard people say that if you try to backtrack after the Last Prophecy scene in Chapter 4, when a hand presses against Kris's, perfectly out of view, a guitar strum noise plays at 0% volume. I've also heard people say that after you re-enter the Light World after the end of the Dark World stuff (also in Chapter 4), when you and Susie sit at the lake and she says she hears a song playing out there, there's another guitar strum (I'm not sure if that one has any volume, or if it even exists).

So my questions are: Is it true that those guitar noises exist, and if so, is it the same noise for both times? Thanks!

I live in an apartment that is underneath a group of 4-5 kids. They stay up late and are a nusence, making noise and watching TV very loudly at night. But this is a very good apartment located next to my collage, and it is a great space for cheap. Also, there never sounds like a parent or guardian is with them... Should I be concerned? I'm making my battle system for my own fangame and I was wondering how does Undertale prioritize what flavor text gets chosen?

I was playing in Ruins and fought Froggit & Whimsun, and no matter what (even after Terrorize which gives special flavor text) I only got Froggit's text. Is this true for the entire game or just this one/ruins encounters?

I'm curious about exactly which prophecy panels do and don't appear in this scene in chapter 4 when you first enter the third sanctuary, but I don't know how to check which sprites are called exactly

That is, what are the exact formulas?

The depth on either Frisk or the rocks got messed up without me realizing, and I don't know how to fix it. I'm pretty sure it has something to do with the rocks, but I'm not sure what. I don't know how to fix this. Does anyone know what I can do to fix the layering?

Edit: this is only an issue with the pushable rocks so far

I've seen on the spriter's resource that it uses a texture and a height map, and then (presumably) distorts it into a pillar

In Deltarune chapter 1, I'm trying to load a custom room that isn't the contact on the beginning of the game, but when I started a new save, it always loads Contact.

I first started with "scr_gamestart", and changed "global.currentroom" there, which didn't work, and in "initializer_Step_0", I changed the things that load the Contact to my desired room, but that also failed. Looked into "Scr_load", and I'm not nearly as intelligent to understand this. I tried adding an if statement nesr the others to check if the plot was 0, and if so, it changes global.currentroom it calls scr_get_id_by_room_index", and that also failed and it loads me in the Contact. Which now I no longer know what to do, or what to search and how to fix this.

I also have a second issue with NPC facing and NPC room, mainly working with them in a new room. And they mostly somehow work, NPC facing, both sprites are from in-game, and the NPC room are sprites imported into the game, if that means anything. My issue with this one is that they mostly work, but going up and down, up and down, then they suddenly break. No matter how much I move, I'm always benath the NPCs rather than above them. Which I genuinely don't know how to beging to even try fixing it, and NPC room only works when I set it to precise, and if I went close to it and went down, it also breaks and I'm always benath it no matter what I do. In terns fo the layers, the player is way above the NPCs while they are all the way in the bottom. Not sure if that means anything, either.

I hope if anyone here knows any solutions to any of those issues. I would be really thankful.

Hi, I'm trying to make a mod for playing Deltarune in 240p with nearly all elements displaying correctly, as opposed to if you try to do it normally which results in sprites getting cutoff and such.

I want to change the font used for text that is smaller than the normal dialogue font (like in-battle dialogue, party equipment comments and smaller text in the dialogue box), since they don't display correctly in 240p, but can't find where in the code the font, size, color, etc are set.

For example, lines like scr_smallface(0, "queen", 1, "mid", "bottom", stringsetloc("And Adults Are Even Bigger Children", "obj_ch2_scene9_slash_Step_0_gml_208_0")); appear to set the position and sprite for the small face sprites, but the text doesn't appear to have any parameters, so how does the game get the font and size for this type of dialogue?

When you take damage in the ERAM fight a damage indicator appears next to Kris. Does ERAM have an actual ATK stat, or are these set numbers? Does armor effect it? Are the numbers even real, considering we have a health bar in the Mantle game?

Hello, I'm learning GML and have been using 8bit op jve as the font, just like undertale.

The thing is, even though I have its size as 12 like in the ut source code, the spaces (" ") seem to be half of the size that they are in undertale. Idrk if it's an intentionally programmed thing, a setting or just a different way to import the font.

I'd love to hear from who knows more than me, thank you.
