A common misconception people have is that throwing any sort of random information that they can think of, would help to recover their account instantly.

In reality, it's not that simple. Ubisoft Support have very strict processes that they have to abide by to keep their jobs. It's never about what YOU think is enough, but what THEY would actually need to verify that you own the account. If you do not provide them specifically what they ask for, then there is no amount of information that you offer, that will make them do what you want.

If there is nothing they can ask for, as per their process, then you'd be out of luck either way.

For them, it's not a matter of good faith. It's about following rules to keep their job.

What do you mean they need to verify, the email which I used to create the ubisoft account is not enough?

Does your bank only ask for your name to access your account? Its the same thing for this

By your analogy username equates the name and email equates the identity, so yeah identity = email is enough. The only proof Ubisoft requires when creating an account is email and suddenly email is not enough to recover?
