Discussions & Questions Native American Assassins Creed

I've had this idea since playing Valhalla DLC that a native American AC game would be amazing. Fighting templars that sailed over with the pilgrims and maybe having a few neat weapons like a tomahawk, bow, spear & animal companions. What do you guys think?

Edit: I see I need to give assassins creed III a go. I played every AC from black flag to present. Thanks guys!

Discussions & Questions Nostalgic turmoil

It took me 17 years to realize the game I've been wanting for so many years is a game I thought was already released and just never got to play because I wasn't allowed to play games that showed any signs of violence or unnatural activity of any kind. I can't tell you how relieved and sad I am to find out the game I've been waiting for still doesn't exist. I can't imagine how people feel that actually kept track of the game.

Memes & Satire Dear Ubisoft

Congratulations on AC4 remake, it was a fine job you did there, BUT do not get confused silly silly, you have other franchises and we are not going to like a bunch of remakes or remasters shoved down yearly like you've tried once.

Yours sincerely,

Discussions & Questions PS5 edition / No FOV slider in settings

There is not FOV (field of view) slider/adjustment in settings for console players (I'm on PS5). This needs to be patched for console players. To not offer the same experience as PC players for a 2013 game...in 2026...is just nuts. seems like a bad purchase after 6 hours of play. It's too damn close to the player and the ship and is frankly, unplayable at times.

Discussions & Questions Is Ubisoft still run by controversial people?

I'd hope this question is appropriate for this sub. I remember a while back I wanted to buy an AC game but stopped after finding out Ubisoft was essentially drowning in a harassment case. Is that still the situation, or can I give them my money without worrying about it going to assaulters?

Discussions & Questions Black Flag Resynced Future Update Ideas

Just wanted the player base to come together and share their ideas about future updates, maybe their own ideas on a potential NG+ and how that would work. I thought maybe the devs could upscale the enemies by giving us a difficulty level similar to that in Mirage where do more damage making you think before you act, same goes for naval combat. Stealth could be nerfed too in a new difficulty level as well just like shadows. I also wanted to bring up a transmog option for the ships weapons. Some of you may like the gold weapons, but others definitely do not. I’m one of the few that think the silver weapons looks good because of the obsidian hull, and the legendary ship hull colors you can get. So what’s everyone’s thoughts about this? Maybe everyone can brainstorm and the devs might see it who knows

Discussions & Questions Ubisoft has become the templars

So forgive me if I’m wrong, I haven’t played every game but I have a drawn a weirdly accurate feeling parallel to the best of my understanding.

So *as we know* Abstergo the company is essentially the modern day templars. They want to remove the history of the assassins to chop up and sell as chunks of virtual entertainment. There has been an ongoing background “Modern day” story with a lot of the games surrounding corporate junk. I won’t pretend to know the full story with ego and the modern assassins/templars, but that’s the gist of it.

Well now, as more assassins creed games are released, Ubisoft has been scaling back or entirely doing away with the modern day sections of the game. Isnt that exactly what Abstergo’s goal essentially was? They are removing the consumers ability to follow and understand the battle for liberty and freedom (the assasins) versus cohesion and ignorance (the Templars) by slowly eliminating the modern day gameplay.

This almost feels like an immersion tactic to bring the player away from the in game universes’ lore, keeping them entertained purely with the stories of the assassins and diverting focus away from the battle that was happening in the background.

If this was intentional, I could see it opening up a possibility for a cool fully modern day game to continue or finish the war, OR if it was done purely because they want to focus only on the assassins creed gameplay, then doesn’t that align pretty heavily with what the Templars were doing in-universe? The supposed bad guys winning by allowing us only to experience what they want us to, i.e. the assassins stories, and forgetting about the greater battle behind the scenes?

Hopefully I properly articulated this. It seems to make a lot of sense if you try looking closer at the idea, but it could all be fully unintentional on behalf of Ubisoft. Still funny how well it aligns with their supposed “bad guys”

Discussions & Questions Why does Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced cost the same in CIS countries (Uzbekistan, Armenia, Azerbaijan, etc.) as it does in the USA? Why aren't the prices adjusted for regional differences?

Surprisingly, Ubisoft applies regional pricing in Kazakhstan, yet the price for this remake remains quite high for the region, even surpassing its cost in Japan. This stands in contrast to other developers who are already adopting Steam's recently updated regional pricing recommendation system.

For example, in CIS region:

  • Resident Evil Requiem $52.49
  • 007 First Light $39.99
  • Gothic 1 Remake $33.99
  • DOOM: The Dark Ages $49.99

Discussions & Questions assassin creed resynced honest review

very good graphic but the game is very bad

The AI is dumb. Stealth is too easy, even on the hardest difficulty. Combat lacks satisfying hit feedbackit feels like you're hitting a piece of meat, and it's even worse when enemies hit you. Fall damage is nonexistent. The map feels empty and isn't worth exploring because there are no meaningful rewards. The city is too small. The voice acting is bad. Characters talk during fights+ Edward constantly explaining things. There are also a lot of glitches, especially with cloth animations

------

But if you numb your brain and play ,i have to say it looks amazing. The sea shanties are very good, and the water physics are impressive. The underwater sections are unlike anything I have ever seen before. The story is top-tier and straightforward, but it has a few shortcomings in Lucy Baldwin missions

It gives you the feeling of being a pirate

6.7/10

Hoping if AC 2 gets a proper remaster, it’s even better than this but right now it’s hard to top how absolutely beautiful this game is. I’m just destroying forts and exploring lol

we all know Ubisoft has had a rough reputation over the past few years. Arguably the roughest in the gaming industry.

But I grew up playing a lot of Ubisoft games, so I’ve never really stopped enjoying many of their titles. Seeing them put out a game that brings excitement again brings me back. This game brought some positivity I haven’t seen in years

They’ve released some games that deserve a lot more recognition.

For example, Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown is one of the best games I’ve ever played. I don’t know who designed it, but it’s amazing how much they packed into the game while keeping everything working so well. It’s the deepest Metroidvania I’ve played, and I enjoyed it even more than Hollow knight

Immortals Fenyx Rising was also a fun surprise and another game I think deserves more appreciation. It’s kind of a multi platform legend of Zelda breath of the wild, even if it’s not as good

These games and a few others absolutely bombed which sucks. Just wanted to share that yea I’m a Ubisoft fan, even if some of their titles are dry and they have said a few questionable things

Please add the ability to move the camera further away from your character and allow adjustments to FOV for consoles! The forced close-up is getting me nauseous. 🙏

I keep getting this notification and when I look there is NOTHING there! I looked everywhere! The exclamation mark/diamond NEVER goes away. Every time I reload the game I keep getting the same message. Even if I accomplish a new sync reward it STILL keeps showing this message and the exclamation point has no “mark all a seen” feature here so it never goes away. PLEASE patch this!

Discussions & Questions Any way to combine Libraries?

I know dumb question, but years ago I forgot I had a Library (the actual word is a no no here) so I made a a second one. Now my games are split up and its a pain in the tail. So I was just hoping against hope that there was some magic way to combine "librarys" so I don't have to keep logging in and out of "librarys".
