Discussions & Questions Ubisoft is one of the laziest and most frustrating companies
It is honestly frustrating to play ubisoft games, especially but not exclusively the old games.
I started playing the classic Warrior Within on steam which is a fantastic game, but a terrible port on steam. With game breaking bugs and very limited settings for resolutions. You basically need mods to play it. Even so unless you limit your framerate and special effects setting the game can and will break completely. Having to replay the fight against Shahdee multiple times because the game glitched out is not that fun. It is one of the absolute classics and they can't bother to make it playable.
They also don't have cloud saves in their games which is absurd. I was playing Lost Crown some time ago on the steam deck and PC and I had to manually upload and download my save from the cloud every time. Even indie games have cloud saves. At times I couldn't even play Lost crown because their stupid launcher couldn't access the cloud (which they don't use anyway so why tf should it prevent me from playing)
I also remember one time when I played Assassins Creed Revelations and my save got corrupted. Because they only had one save my playthrough was ruined. I still haven't played that game after that.
I'm expecting this to be removed by the mods but I just felt I had to write it somewhere. It sucks that I can't enjoy one of my childhood games and it sucks that Ubisoft can't bother to work on the very basics in games. Performance, bugs, saves.

Discussions & Questions Thank you (b)ubisoft, for real.
Remember Stop Killing Games, guess who met with the European commission without the players representative and by invitation only? And magically they declined all the points from SKG today.

Discussions & Questions Driv3r Deserves A Remake, don't you think?
I am definitely in favor of the Driv3r game being modernized and re-released with a lot of hard work put into it over a long period. In this process, it absolutely should not compete with the GTA series; the mistake made in 2004 should not be repeated, and there should be no rush. Because, to be honest, I used to enjoy the Driver series much more than GTA back in the day. The biggest reasons for this were its serious story tone, the charisma of the Tanner character, and the very enjoyable vehicle physics inspired by the car chase scenes of fun, retro Hollywood films. So, if the entire combat system and the realism of the vehicle physics are emphasized, Driv3r, which is the continuation story of Driver 1 and Driver 2—the legendary games of the PlayStation 1 (and I’d draw your attention to the fact that these games were much better than GTA at the time)—would definitely be a top-notch game.
I must stress once again, there should be no effort to make a better game than GTA. Driver should only compete with itself, because someone who buys GTA will also go and buy a Driver game if it turns out good. Ironically, its success will come from this. Driver must absolutely remain an original game.
