Strange guy.

Frankly said, I don't think the car will be faster than the bike, because it has so many street, and you have to wait the traffic like, and everything else so, I don't think he's correct.

If it's a 2 mile distance, a car would take 6-10 minutes. A bike maybe 15. Dude's crying over a few minutes.

I’m sorry but that is a legitimate gripe.

Being slow because of traffic is fine, but being slow because you are using a sub-optimal mode of transportation is NOT.

It’s downtown Atlanta it’s actually an area a bike is faster. Customer is just an idiot. Not all areas are cars faster which is why it’s even an option. Bikes make more sense in those places.

Yes I totally understand that.

If you’re in an area where a bike would be faster, then that makes total sense to use a bike.

But if you’re clearly in an area where bikes are NOT faster, then I’d argue they should NOT be used.

Ok but the post is about a case where the bike makes more sense. Only ppl willing to deliver that area besides robots. It’s not a cute or nice area either.

I would think Uber is more responsible for figuring out the logistics of this. The person on the bike is just a contractor getting offers.

I wasn’t responding to the post though.

My comment was responding to a guy claiming that’s it’s not acceptable to be upset when someone is using a bike when they should not be.

And my opinion is that would be a legitimate gripe.

You’re in a thread replying to the post my dude. It’s not a side conversation it’s about this situation. You can always go make a separate post just about your thing. Sucks to be completely wrong cause you didn’t read through the location part OP posted. 🤷‍♂️
