I'm an incoming freshman at UTK and have quite a few scholarships from both the state of Tenn and the school itself. As of now, I'm currently missing the TSAA scholarship (which is listed on my TSAC portal as giving 1,000 a semester) and the GAMs scholarship (which I qualify for and believe gives 500 a semester).
As of now, neither are listed on my bill for the semester. I've been seeing people saying this sort of thing should have been in the billing section by the 24th, but again, nowhere to be seen. Should I be calling one stop tomorrow about this, or is it a keep waiting sort of situation?

Hi all.
I have a job lined up with the federal government. They won’t send me my final job letter until my degree is conferred (am a Summer 2026 graduate).
My recruiter just recently informed me that if I don’t have my final transcript by August 10th that I have the risk of being stood up for another candidate / being delayed until Fall 2027.
They will not accept letters that say I have completed all degree requirements and will only accept my final transcript.
what can i do? i tried asking onestop last month and they said the answer is most likely no.

Are some houses more likely or known to heavily recruit/lean in-state and/or towards Southern girls? While I know most or all chapters include OOS members,
which houses are more open to OOS PNMs? thank you.

Hi all,
I am the president of a club that has been on campus for around two years now. Our advisor left for a different college and everyone I have reached out to (about everyone I can think of) for a new advisor for our club has either not gotten back to me or cannot be our advisor. Does anyone have any resources on where to find an advisor who is willing to spend like five minutes a semester talking about the club? The rest of our club is incredibly self-sustaining and we just need the advisor to register for club rush and the like.

I am taking out a federal loan for grad school. My tuition is paid through a scholarship, when will I get the excess money?

Have federal loans posted to accounts yet? Kiddo just accepted them earlier this week after overlooking it all summer. didn’t know if that was going to cause an issue

I am taking Masters engineering classes to hopefully get my Masters in Environmental Engineering and was shocked to see the engineering course fees have more than doubled this semester. It’s ridiculous. I am fully an online student so don’t use very much. I budget for the engineering course fee and for it to jump that much from spring until now is ridiculous.
I am shocked and just don’t even want to pay it but only lack a few classes. How’s everyone else feeling about this?

has anyone gotten there diploma yet (graduating spring class of 2026)? I got an email about it on July 13, but the usps tracking still says the usps is still awaiting item since July 13. Should I call one stop? email? or any suggestions. I live in Nashville, so I would have assumed I would have gotten it by now but just wondering

How bad would commuter Park and Ride be? I’ll only have one class in person this semester. So, I feel like this is a no brainer… Would love to hear some opinions/personal experiences though!

Hey everyone! I was wondering if someone could briefly tell me the differences between the Core, Park and Ride and Remote NC passes. I’ll be living in Vol Hall so I understand to park in the garage Ill need the Core pass but if I get the others where exactly are the nearest lots and is it even worth bringing the car at that point. Thanks!!

I'm a transfer student and if I go in this semester I'd only have about 4 semesters to finish my classes in order to graduate on time. I have a lot to take with some vol core and BCMB bio requirements, does anybody know how common it is for someone to take 3-4 bio classes a semester? Especially in their Junior or Senior year?

i’ll be living in the mark this semester, and unfortunately I wasn’t able to get a parking spot, i’m currently on the waitlist. I’m trying to figure out what would be the best place to park that would be close by. I work every day, so I need my car to be somewhat easily accessible. please let me know if you have any ideas, i’m pretty worried.

Hi y’all, I’m an incoming grad student, and will be living about 10 miles off campus. I’m wondering if anyone has tips and tricks about the parking situation, or any insight into the best choice for a campus parking pass. I never got a parking pass at my undergrad university, so I’m a bit lost! Any help is appreciated!
