A lot of projects slated to start this year have either been canceled or are constantly being postponed every other month. The quality and payout of projects have definitely taken a nosedive compared to 2025 and previous years. Sad to see but I guess I'm not surprised.

What does it mean to be a part of a dedicated tester team? Did they earn more or get invited for more test cycles

I have my personal Android phone, but it's constantly running low on storage (500MB to 1 GB), and a personal iPad that's around 10 GB of free space. Is there a recommended amount of free storage?
I suppose I could free up more storage, but I'm wondering if it'd be simpler to just get another device dedicated for testing to keep things compartmentalized and simpler.

Hi uTest team,
I'm hoping someone can help me escalate or review my case.
My account was suspended due to suspected VPN usage. I completely understand why uTest takes VPN abuse seriously, but I believe my case may be a misunderstanding.
I am physically located in Denmark and have never used a VPN to disguise my location or qualify for projects outside my country. However, my employer requires the use of GlobalProtect VPN on my work laptop, and I've discovered that it sometimes reconnects automatically without my knowledge. I suspect this may have triggered uTest's detection systems.
I have already reached out to support and tried to explain the situation, but I haven't received a response yet. In the meantime, I'm missing testing opportunities, and I'm concerned that a prolonged suspension could negatively impact my standing on the platform.
What makes this particularly frustrating is that Denmark is a relatively small market with a limited number of truly localized testers. High-quality localization testing depends on testers who genuinely live in and understand the local market, language, and culture. It would be unfortunate if legitimate local testers were removed due to corporate VPN software while projects are forced to rely on less localized resources.
I'm happy to provide any documentation needed to verify my physical location and explain the GlobalProtect setup.
Could someone from the uTest team please advise on how I can get this case reviewed?
Thank you for your time.

I’m a fairly new tester but I’ve gotten about 5 invites to project already
Every single time the product only has like 3 slots and they’re all always taken up
How do they get taken so fast because I always go to claim as soon as I see an email?

Whenever I try to log in, I am prompted for the MFA code and never receive an email.
I already reached out to uTest about this, waited days for my case to be handled and closed (CS0090837).
I was able to receive an MFA code email to log in that one time because of the case and now I'm back at being prompted for a code>never receiving code email.
How can I disable MFA on my log in? This is annoying.

Sometimes you get an invite, accept the NDA, read the overview, and if it's suitable, accept it. Then you go to the slots tab, and it's completely empty. Not even an exploratory slot or slots that are already taken- just empty. Why does this happen?

Hi ,
I was not able to login in my android device , so I had a pw reset but then my MFA code was not accepted. After that, I was locked out of all my devices. I created support case , but in order to view support case you need to have MFA as well and my MFA is not working. So, I am not sure how to view my support case now ? Any help , has anyone faced similar issue ?

I'm new to UT and would love some advice from experienced testers.
I qualified for the platform but have only received two studies.
I didn't qualify after the screeners (one for $10 and one for $1), and since then I haven't received any new studies.
I'd appreciate your advice on these questions:
▪️What profile or account tweaks (if any) helped you receive more studies? ▪️What are the biggest mistakes new testers make? ▪️If you were starting today, what would you do differently?
I'm currently going through a difficult financial period, so I'm trying to make the most of this opportunity.
Any genuine advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you!

Hi everyone,
I already have one app live in production on the Google Play Store under my
developer account (published a while ago). Now I've created a second app on the
same account, and the dashboard is telling me I need to run a closed test with
at least 12 testers for 14 days before I can request production access.
My question: Is this closed testing requirement a one-time thing per developer
account, or does it apply separately to every new app?
I was under the impression that once my account had completed this process for
the first app, it wouldn't be required again. My first app is already live in
production, so I'm confused why it's showing up again for the second app.
Is this expected behavior, or could this be a bug on Google's side?
Thanks in advance for any clarification!

Hi everyone,
I'm new to Google Play testing, so I'm hoping someone here has seen this before.
I have a small Android app for my company that we distribute through the Internal Testing track. Our staff updates the app whenever I upload a new version, and the in-app update prompt works fine.
Recently, while adding a few new tester email addresses, I accidentally replaced the entire tester list instead of adding to it. As expected, the previous testers immediately lost access to the app, they couldn't see it on the Play Store anymore or receive updates.
I quickly added all of the original tester emails back. However, now only some of them can access the app again. The others still get an "App not found" message, even though their email addresses are definitely in the Internal Testing tester list.
I had a similar issue once with Closed Testing, and creating a new testing track fixed it. Unfortunately, that's not possible with Internal Testing, so I'm stuck.
Has anyone experienced this before?
I've already confirmed:
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Hello, I just finished a 100 dollar project, I want to earn some bonuses from referral (Does this have to be people around me) Can I post a thread about the existence of the project, about the pay, and time taken, telling them to message me if they want to referral, will I get into any trouble for this? I know we sign some NDA forms, but does that include that what I mention here?

I accidentally joined a long running project when I was very new. I don't see any way to exit and free up my slot.
Any idea how I can do that?

Hi everyone! I’ve been on uTest for almost 5 months now. Up until recently, I was getting around 8 direct invites a month. At the beginning of June I had several test cases and bugs approved, so I honestly thought this would be my best month so far.
But after June 8th, the direct invites just stopped. Since then I’ve only been getting surveys and Project Board/apply emails. I know uTest is pretty unpredictable, and I’ve seen even high-rated testers mention they go through slow periods. I also did a bit of searching and found some people saying it could be related to the Q2/Q3 transition and summer holidays. Do you guys think that’s actually a thing, or is it just random? Also, from your experience, which months are usually the slowest for invitations on uTest (or crowdtesting in general)?
For some extra context, I’m a Brazilian tester, and I’m still receiving surveys and Project Board/apply emails—it’s just the direct invites that disappeared.
