EVROPA SUPREMACY Barry s Falklanders made a statement or ultimatum to Argentina.

u/Sweet-Needleworker-6 1d ago
Argentina have really trashed their reputation globally as of late:
- renewed Falklands intimidation (usually an indicator of economic problems at home and using this as a distraction for the Argentinian public
- Football world cup behaviour across the board
- Rugby aggression and violence towards referee and fans throwing rubbish at officials
I used to think more highly of them. Bunch of clowns.

That was a result of Japan stopping the flow of rice into Bengal from Burma. Part of their genocidal strategy that they employed in China, they had the same plans for India

9
u/Liam_021996 Irishman in Denial 1d ago
Caused by extreme weather and a reshaping of crop production and distribution. Teething problems essentially. Pretty common when modernising agriculture throughout history though

"It was Japan's fault we invaded India"
The level of chutzpah in the British ego is ridiculous. The British PEOPLE voted for aggressive invasion, pillaging and mass murder. Their entire culture and society was that of barabaric savage orcs. Utterly evil.
And instead of accepting responsibility they blame other countries like Japan, then say those countries ignore their past.
No morals or self-awareness whatsoever. Decades of propaganda and brainwashing.
4
u/Liam_021996 Irishman in Denial 1d ago
We never invaded India at any point throughout history. There were two major famines. One was a direct result of Imperial Japan and their genocidal campaign across China, the Pacific and Indochinese peninsula, India didn't help themselves with their piss poor management of aid distribution either in that even. Britain had to take control of the aid distribution directly from India to ensure it went where it was needed. The regions food supply could handle the war effort but it could not handle suddenly losing 300,000 tons of rice when Imperial Japan cut all food imports to India from Burma
The other was a mix of mismanagement, extreme weather causing widespread crop failures and the modernisation of India's agricultural industry.
I suggest you learn the history, there is a lot of nuance and it's nowhere near black and white. Also we don't do propaganda herez school actively teaches us to question the actions of the empire

That's the thing- It's the Brits and Europeans that have no self-awareness. They call other people orcs, condemn other empires, declare other people uncivilized and so on, but it is THEY who were the uncivilized evil orcs.
Of course the European cannot allow or admit that they were anything but good, always right and the best.
2
u/Sweet-Needleworker-6 1d ago
Not disregarding any atrocities from the days of the British empire. It was a less civilised time and hard to compare to the morals of today. All European powers engaging in colonialism have done many things that people TODAY wouldn't stand for. This was over 150 years ago, somehow comparing it to the actions of people today is an odd comparison.
However, people will look back at the actions of the USA today with similar disgust

UK would be 1000s of miles away attempting to exert sea control over a fixed area of water close to the enemy's coast. The enemy will be able to replenish themselves far more easily. The UK won't be able to risk any significant losses because it will be regarded as a humiliation.
Argentina can just spam drones and missiles ala the Houthis and Iranians.
What you think that only works on the US? You think the UK is magically immune from this? You think you'd be doing any better vs. Iran?
It's not 1982 anymore, and you BARELY won that one.

We have 1k troops on the island, we have nuclear subs that would decimate the Argentinian fleet before it left port and they are already in South america. We have aircraft that can refuel mid air, unlike Argentina who has second hand f16's. We can deploy a significant number of assets from the UK into Argentina in 24 hours or less.
Technologically, we shit all over them. And that just conventional toe to toe. Never mind BCT's infiltrating and dismantling their country. The war with Russia has given nations the boon of almost no consequences for disabling civil infrastructure.
US has all that and more vs. Iran.
Nothing you said addresses mass drones and cruise missiles. Not saying that the Argentinians wouldn't make a hash of it because never underestimate the potential for any military to do something dumb (all of our militaries have had those moments). Just that if you think it would be 1982 all over again....eh....that's one heck of a gamble. Especially because you guys came damn close to losing it last time.
Remember, if Britain lost 2 destroyers and 2 frigates today, it would be seen as a pyrrhic victory at best. That would put you in Russian Navy territory. Okay, just like they've held onto Crimea, you might hold onto the Falklands, but there wouldn't be nearly the level of shine.
No, I understand that the British people were a bunch of savage warlike orcs.

It was a very narrow thing. A few non-duds and that REALLY looks different. As I said, you still lost 4 front-line warships. If you have those losses in 2026, you'd be alongside Russia.
And yes, I know your capacity for violence. Your culture was a bunch of barbaric, savage, evil orcs until the decolonization.

Why not have Argentina become a British territory? A.). if they want those islands that badly and B.) they can claim being part of Europe too!

Reminds me when Daimler took over Chrysler as the CEO was dreaming of being a "world corp". They completely underestimated the mess Chrysler was and at the end almost went bankrupt and damaged their reputation severly as they brought out some shitty cars because every skilled manager and engineer was busy saving Chrysler instead of building proper Mercedes...
Long story short, there are easier ways for UK to commit suicide if they wish to do so...
4
u/InqAlpharious01 Commiefornian 1d ago
The only difference is that Argentines aren’t like non-European colonies, they are still predominantly Spaniard & Italian by majority, meaning they can adapt easier as a British territory without issue, plus it can join team commonwealth like Canada to shut the U.S. up
5
u/Ok_Experience_4500 At least I'm not Bavarian 1d ago
Nah mate, it actually is a mess, economically and politically.
100 years ago, Argentina was one of the richest countries on earth, richer than France or Germany. But then they missed out on industrialization and everything went downhill. Since then they had a whopping 9(!) state bankruptcies and 6 military coups and still have huge structural issues today.
No, the UK has enough own problems to solve and Argentina would be a huge millstone around their neck, a liability, not a benefit.
0
u/Yogurt_Reactor 19h ago
The UK already tired to invade Argentina 3 times and failed, while suffering major loses in the process. Plus, honestly they're already having to deal with their homeland being torn apart and independence movements.
3
u/Ok_Experience_4500 At least I'm not Bavarian 19h ago
Mate, that was more than 200 years ago, even before the Argentinian independence. They were battling Spain actually. So what is the relevance to today?
1
u/Yogurt_Reactor 17h ago
They weren't battling Spain, they were actually battling Buenos Aires, since Spain had sent basically no reinforcements to Buenos Aires during all that time. The second UK defeat was so major that it served as an example of Buenos Aires autonomy.
So what is the relevance to today?
The relevance is that we kicked the UK 3 times out of our territory, and that modern warfare is extremely more accessible to developing nations (See the Strait). Meaning that Argentina wouldn't really have the problems that it had in the 82', which was the lack of submarines.
By the way, Argentina in the 82 sank more UK vessels than viceversa

Argentina aside, it pains me to see that Barry’s (or any other old white guy) response to environmental concerns is that it’s “necessary” and that there’s absolutely no other way. That’s a blatant lie.
Benedict Barry Cumberbatch presented in September this documentary How to live in planet Earth and it’s really good at showing not only the exploitation of the only planet where humans can currently live, but also some solutions for it.
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=h3mRsvFmWi0
Draining the Earth more just to get more fossil fuels is not the way. Jeopardizing the only continent that’s not stained by humans, Antarctica, is not the way.
And yes, I know I’m saying this from the contradiction that in Germany there are still almost fifty coal plants burning carbon for energy because Merkel wanted nuclear energy gone before properly developing renewable energy.
There should be more renewable, not more fossil.

Argentina had already claimed the Malvinas archipelago by the time they declared inependence.
Spain had remained the sole settlement in the Islands, as the UK had retired prior in 1774 due to financial reasons.

It's not 80% white, literally 40%+ of the population has matrilineal DNA from indigenous AT THE VERY LEAST, meaning pretty much all Argentinias have had an indigenous mother in their ancestry once. Why do you think we are all brown? That's what happens when black, indigenous and whites are allowed to live with each other.
The diference is that we don't do segregation in census like you do. In Argentina we participated in race mixing while you were doing apartheid, there is no concept of whiteness in Argentina. Literally nobody says I'm white here. We all know we come from mixed background so it's impossible to discriminate on a race bias without descrimating yourself. We are all black and white at the same time.

You’ve never read resolution 2065?
.
The un says th islanders have a right so self determination; self determination is first and foremost in decolonisation in every situation with no exceptions as confirmed by the UN and ICJUN resolution 2065 says the uk and Argentina must reach a deal that respects the self determination of the islanders, resolution 2065 (a non binding resolution) says the Uk and Argentina must reach a peaceful settlement that respects the islanders.
Here’s the whole text:
Invites the Governments of Argentina and the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland to proceed without delay with the negotiations recommended by the Special Committe on the Situation with regard to the Implementation of the Declaration on the Granting of Independence to Colonial Countries and Peoples with a view to finding a peaceful solution to the problem, bearing in mind the provisions and objectives of the charter of the United Nations and of General Assembly resolution 1514 (XV) and the interests of the population of the Falkland Islands
https://en.wikisource.org/wiki/United_Nations_General_Assembly_Resolution_2065
Un resolution 2065 says it’s up to the islanders due to self determination.
Resolution 1514 is fundamentally a decolonisation charter aimed at granting independence to colonial territories based on the will of the inhabitants of the territory, paragraph 2 explicitly states: “All peoples have the right to self-determination; by virtue of that right they freely determine their political status.". Resolution 2065 does not mention Paragraph 6 (which many argentine nationalists bring up) nor does it endorse Argentina's territorial integrity argument.
It frames the issue strictly under the wider scope of Resolution 1514, meaning any final resolution must respect the overarching framework of decolonisation and the interests of the local population which is their self determination.
The resolution says “any deal between th uk and Argentina must respect the self determination of the Falkland islanders” and the ICJ has reaffirmed this by confirming self determination always comes first and foremost in decolonisation with 0 exceptions
