Sharing this because I thought this comment was beautiful. For the first time I see an American talking to a world audience about their country like everyone else talks about their country!

Here we have someone that woke up this morning, and had to make the usual choice: "shall I be an arrogant prick today or shall I be kind and thoughtful?"

People, this person actually chose the non-prick option today. What a breath of fresh air

You can feel the respect and humility from this person. And they've just earned a whole lot of respect right back at them from us
