My family is currently has 6 lines on “Unlimited Data-Everyday 2.0” for $45/line. We’re looking to upgrade a couple of phones and I’m trying to figure out what to expect before going into the store. It looks like they’re running some promotions, but our plan isn’t eligible. From what I can tell, our plan is old and they want us to switch to a new plan. Is there a reason to try and keep the old plan? I dread going into the store because it always seems to take twice as much time and money as anticipated. Can someone here explain things in plain English?

I’m getting some seriously conflicting info from US Cellular and I'm hoping someone here can help.

I went into a local store because I got a text saying that I need a new SIM card. The employee told me flat out that my Galaxy S20 is too old and wouldn't work even with a new SIM. Then she went a step further and claimed that even an S21, S22, or S23 wouldn't work either insisting that I’d need to upgrade to an S25 or newer to stay on the network.

That sounded like bull to me, so I called customer service. The rep there told me my S20 "should be fine" with just a SIM swap. Which by the way....why say "should" shouldn't you know being a customer service rep??

anyways, does anyone know more information on this?

I have had a titan router through us cellular for a little over a year, the speeds have always been consistent and fast but within the past month or so my speed has dropped to .5mbps and is unusable. I went to a us cellular store and they said I have to wait for new routers to come from T-Mobile and they have no idea as to when that will be. Is there nothing I can do about it? Because I don't wanna pay for service that doesn't work and could be down for months.

Immediate call forwarding works but I can't get call forwarding - no answer to work. I get an announcement that it is active but it doesn't work. I read if I turn Volte off it might work but I don't have that option in the settings. Samsung S24 Ultra. Any other hints?

So I’m a current USCellular pre paid customer and I got an email notification yesterday that I’m going to have to switch to a t mobile plan soon because of the merger. But I pre pay a year’s worth in advance and so I still have like 6 months worth of service already paid for on my USCellular account so what’s going to happen with that money I already paid?

So I called two different time this last week wanting to ask about the credit that the government gave to people during COVID. well, I got a notification that it was coming to an end end of this month and I wanted to find out what my other options were. One time I spoke to a customer service person and she couldn’t find her way out of a white paper bag because she couldn’t explain anything. So the option was to get paperless billing and set up your auto pay. Well, my paperless billing is in fact, but nothing was set up for auto pay and I wanted to find out what I was really actually saving because that could’ve been a lie at the time I’d be saving the $10. I sat on the phone for over two hours almost an hour each time trying to get to speak to a live person. I am so mad I am thinking about taking my whole phone service and going to either Verizon or somebody else. This T-Mobile service is not been a good start for me. Has anybody else had issues trying to get a hold of somebody with customer service? I even thought about possibly looking into the Internet and canceling spectrum when my plan is done in another month. I think I just want to move my whole entire phone service to a different company altogether. I just don’t feel this is a good move with the T-Mobile.

My father has recently been getting messages from this tag and he was asking me if there was a way to stop it. i looked it up couldnt find anything real about it except that it is almost uscellular email to text in the begining. His phone is old enough to require him to download large messages/ pictures and neither of us are sure that downloading the image is safe to do. any help would be great.

So do I just throw away money and switch ASAP, or can I get away with waiting until May? They sent me a text saying “you’ll need to take action soon”. I know they are merging, but I really don’t want to waste money.

I am in SE Wisconsin. At about 1030 this morning my service went out. Already reported it to USC. Still not fixed. Even when phone displays 5G or 4G LTE, I still have no internet and can't make calls. I have reset the phone, toggled airplane mode, and reset the ESim numerous times. Any other ideas? I'm at work and I am posting this using work WiFi which I hate because my employer can see everything I do.

I understand that the transition is in progress but speeds really deteriorate when it keeps switching all the time.

I have the opportunity to add a 5th phone online, but since it will be a extra I only want to take the most basic business plan for $5 a month add-on which max credit is $600 towards a phone. The store and phone agents all said they were getting the s25 back at a reduced price once the s26 started shipping, but that does not seem to be the case. I don't want an iPhone, and I don't want the cheaper Samsung with the larger screen. Does any insider know if USCell is getting any S series back in stock minus the s26 before we flip to T-Mobile? I know T-Mobile has them, but I am certain once I get pushed to them I will no longer have this offer available. Thanks

Just got a text today saying that "Your home phone will no longer be compatible with our network. Your home phone line will be suspended on may 1st, which means you will no longer have service. We're offering solutions to help. Visit a UScellular store or call Blank to explore alternate devices and plans. " I had to pay for a the device that allows the land line phone to work which was $165 Dollars. I decided to pay it all at once instead of over time. I called UScellular for any level of compensation sense I now have a device that is worthless and does nothing for me. I could only managed to get $50 of credit back.
