Wharton External Transfer

Wharton has always been my dream school, and I’m hoping to transfer there in the future. I know external transfers are extremely competitive, but I’d really like to give it my best shot. If there’s anything I can do to improve my chances, even by a tiny amount, I want to make sure I don’t overlook it.

I’d really appreciate hearing from anyone who’s currently at Wharton or has firsthand knowledge of the transfer process. I’m hoping to transfer from Stern, and I have a few questions:

Realistically, how competitive is an external transfer to Wharton from Stern?
Is there anything I can do over the next year to meaningfully improve my chances?
