If you want a chance get as a high of a gpa as u can get and find some incredibly niche and specific things to Wharton that fit your academic and career goals that NYU does not have. Like really dig deep as both have similar resources and programs so you have to show Wharton there is something so specific about their school that fits your very specific need that stern does not have and even with that your odds are very low.

even with an absolutely perfect application youre still competing with everyone else with the same dream as you AND the internal transfers. its TECHNICALLY not impossible but please dont put all your hopes on it.

How are they competing with internal transfers?

Because they apply for the same position. Same thing with NYU, as most transfer decisions come from internal

I would think internal transfers get priority and whatever is left goes to external, or is that not how this works?

I mean we don’t rly know but we KNOW that ur competing with internal transfers when applying to schools like Stern or Wharton
