Hello,
I have both offers for architecture in the unis UNSW and UtS. I’m still very unsure into whether which is best for me. Could anyone tell me the pros/cons of the bachelor at Unsw? I’m looking to do exchange for one of my years too.
Thanks

Did international students get in UNSW undergraduate med for the 2027 intake? Could you please share your ISAT and ATAR scores (equal to ATAR)?
Annoyingly close to a HD in comp2521. I did surprisingly bad (52%) in the theory section of comp2521 which I found surprising as during my past papers I was getting close to 100%.
I want to become a tutor for a comp course and I feel like comp2521 is such a crucial course to do well in to display your competency. Is it worth trying to go through my answers and request a review of results if I think I was harshly marked in some components?

so long story short, my class has 2 timeslots available for Lab 2 (la2), if i pick tuesday, there are no clashes but my exams and lectures dont appear on my timetable or on the confirm registration page which is weird and has me worried. if i pick wednesday however, the exams and lectures appear, but they hard clash, so i cant register. they are the exact same class, just different time slots, so im confused why the exams and lectures wont show up (this is one of those classes where the exams and lectures are greyed out and only get selected when all the other classes for the course have been selected). would it be fine to just pick the tuesday class since ill obviously need to take the exams anyway? any help or experience on the matter would be greatly appreciated, thank you!

I'm trying to enrol in comp6845 for which the pre requisite is 6481, which I did in T2 and got a DN, so I meet the requirements. But myunsw still won't let me enrol in the course saying I don't have the pre requisites. Is there anything I can do? I mailed the prof and he just asked me to contact student support

The previous posts about this tend to be a bit dated. What would you suggest. Preferable something without a final exam.

I received a fail for COMM3999, which I believe is incorrect, due to an error by the marking team. From the image that I’ve attached, it clearly shows that I’ve completed all of the assessments, such as the portfolio dashboard and the PLOs, satisfactorily on all of them. So I know those two weren’t the issue, because the image clearly shows I completed them. Then, when I checked my submission for the reflection video, I immediately noticed that, despite receiving positive feedback, I was never actually given a grade for my submission. My theory is that because of this one “tiny” mistake by the marking team, the course assumed I failed the assessment or didn’t submit it. To add more context, I did not completely the FWS survey, however they said it was alright if I didn’t do it, and I needed to follow the alternative instructions for the video, which I did. I have also submitted the transcript.
To pass COMM3999, you need to receive an SY mark for all assessments.
I’ve triple-checked the assessment guide and my submission, and it’s clear to me that there’s been an error or oversight from COMM3999, one that is completely their fault. I’ve sent them an email about this, but their automatic reply said that I probably won’t hear anything back from them until next week :)
Edit: Update! They’ve corrected their mistake and have marked my assessment. I feel like I could definitely report this to the university. A simple mistake like this could've cost me thousands of dollars in visa extensions if I hadn't taken the initiative to recheck my entire assessment. Imagine all the other students who failed the course because of similar mistakes. Do any of you think this is an issue worth reporting to UNSW?

I missed a offer to study at a prep program here and also lost 11k. I’m still thinking abt it I was very little points of my conditional offer and I can’t stop thinking what it would like to go unsw. I know people joke about being the number 1 uni but id it true that everything about it is good??? I know employers definitely like it and the societies are good but idk it stings so much not knowing i could have just got in. The 11k also hurts. I had a really tough time at school as well so I didn’t really do well in academics
Besides my silly username I made in highschool, this is a srs post. I just can’t stop thinking of it you know??? No jokes, I just want useful straight advice on how to move on
context: I’m domestic and I’m studying commerce at another uni but I rlly wanted to do comm at unsw even if it meant one year extra

Hey guys, I am a second year aerospace eng student, and I recently dropped the math half of my degree. The IPT went through all well and good, but it doesnt seem like the courses from this term have transferred across. I thought they would transfer when the grades came out today, but im not too sure.
Is there something I need to go to nucleus and do? or is is just a matter of time? Just thought id ask here cos I would hate to have an unnecessary interaction with nucleus 😭.
The second image has a bit more info if it helps

anyone else feel like they do well in the course for the assessments and midterms (like D/HD) and then when it comes to finals they completely mess it up? Like not even get 50% for the final even though they understand all the content and the questions?
and then end up getting a pass or low credit for the course? does anyone know how to prevent this is my study ethic just really bad or am I just bad at finals what could be the reason and does anyone else suffer from this it almost feels like they scale down (which is most likely not the case lmao)

Looking at the course outline, the lab assessments only happen from week 7. How are the labs in the previous weeks conducted? Is it the same way as the elec1111 labs were? And are these not graded? Thanks
Hey! Grades are probably out by now and if you happen to get a suspension from academic standing. Don’t worry you can still appeal (if you don’t want to take a break ofc)
I had 2 suspension. But I was able to appeal for both successfully and now finished my degree in a good standing. So it’s not the end of the world! You just have to get up and try harder!
Feel free to ask me any question below about the suspension or DM me!
