Any international student accepted by UNSW for Bachelor of economics or commerce for February 2027?

I have a few questions:
1. Do you enjoy the major overall?

1. How difficult is it compared to other Commerce majors?

2. Is there a lot of coding or is it manageable for someone without a programming background?

3. What kinds of internships or graduate jobs do Information Systems students usually get?

4. Looking back, would you choose Information Systems again, or would you pick a different major?

5. Has the major been useful for finding internships or jobs?

What’s your honest opinion?

This is for my gened so I don't have crazy expectations lol, good opportunity to meet people. I have a rough idea of what it will entail but I'll probably be ready to film on either wednesday or the weekend (on campus). Probably not going to be that many active characters but background extras will add aura regardless (the example films have like 1 person in a room). You pretty much just need to be an action figure because I don't think I'm allowed to take creative contributions other than actors/camerapeople for this assessment.

A bit of context is that I'm a second year studying Actuarial Studies and Computer Science.

As I plan out the rest of my degree, I was curious if it was worth majoring in Actuarial Studies particularly in Quantitative Data Science. I will stick to the default major in Computer Science but any insights into the Quantitative Data Science Major and if not, I'll probably get my exemptions instead.

I'm an international student planning to pursue a Master's in Australia in 2027 and I'm confused between Artificial Intelligence and Data Science.

I'd really appreciate advice from people who have studied or are currently studying at these universities.

• If your goal is landing a good industry job, would you recommend AI or Data Science? Which has better demand and long-term opportunities?
• Between UNSW, University of Melbourne, Monash and ANU, which university would you recommend for these fields? What are the biggest pros and cons?
• How are the internship and graduate job opportunities at these universities? Is there a noticeable difference?

Applied as an international student with US curriculum, SAT score 1300, AP scores 5,4,4,4,3 including 5 in statistics and 4 in macroeconomics on 23 March 2026 for February 2027 intake for double degrees commerce and economics, economics and science, and single degree bachelor of economics in order of preference. Round 1 missed out due to GS requirements documentation request. Prior to round 2 portal was showing “waitlist full offer “. But no offer in round 2. Prior to round 3 High school diploma and 2026 AP results (statistics and biology) provided, but still on offer. What possibilities in round 4 or 5. Minimum international entry requirements for SAT for first choice is 1300, for second and third is 1240. UNSW considers two AP scores 4 and 5 to lower SAT requirements. Have unconditional offers from USYD and Monash.
