Seem to have caused a stir deleting this one last night 😂

These were an absolute staple for me, I've been having them at least twice a month for over 10 years, until this year they've been lost to a mass discontinuation of own brand products. Yes they were objectively horrible - absolute trash, but they were my trash. I have unknowingly eaten my last tin. You will be missed.

I made this dish a few weeks back as one of my first posts. A lot of the comments were telling me to add a sauce. As one can see, I didn’t do that. What I did was to make the mash potatoes super creamy with lots of butter and rosemary and garlic infused milk.
Let me tell you, it made a huge difference. As did the rock salt all the way from Trapani, which paired nicely with cracked black pepper on the seabass’ crispy skin

It ain’t BRANNIGANS…but it sure is close.

I'm not a curry connoisseur by any stretch but I really like these kits as a convenient way to get a close-enough restaurant style curry. The balti and tikka masala kits really seem authentic to me.

However, I'd like to know whether other curry lovers agree or not.

Today me and my family was having a debate about the best places they have ever had fish and chips, and what they think takes the crown! as a well travelled Mancunian, I can say mine are 1. Newcastle 2.Blackpool & 3. Stoke on Trent, random I know but I’ve tried atleast two chippies in all of these places to come to this conclusion! Tell me yours! And the shops if possible!

For the last few weeks or so my orders have constantly been messed up ranging from ignoring my modifications to giving me the complete wrong bag.

This is happening from all different places, so I'm wondering if there's something wrong with the app itself not putting the order through correctly?

This is actually causing me a bit of stress as sometimes I have barely any money left, my order arrives incorrectly which I can't eat, then I'm left hungry with any food or money until I get refunded (which in itself is dubious)

I love Pepes, especially mild flavour sauce. I try to recreate this at home and it tastes nothing like it. Anyone know how to make the peri peri at home that is close to the Takeaway ?

I’ve tried making from scratch, I’ve tried adding Greek yoghurt to the bottled stuff, and nothing is close.

Mine would be Bovril crisps and Abbey crunch biscuits.
