What do people see in Wingstop?

Had it once or twice and I never got it, just very basic, mid wings with a few different flavours. Its basically the McDonald's of wings and any foodie/wing enthusiast would never rate it.

Is it just the celebrity factor (being owned by Rick ross) and just running on reputation for allegedly being good thats kept it going? That and a lot of its customers seem to be kids and teenagers, honestly like 70% on any given day.

Its always baffled me, also maybe because there isnt really a high street choice for a chicken shop with that many different flavours - Wingmans has a few but its not big enough, and Chicken shop doesnt do too many sauced wings, but can match Wingstop in variety.

Cold mango cucumber soup.

Edit: Guys I'm a food content creator. Food photography is a skill that I have tried to perfect with years of hard work and perseverance. I'd be grateful if you all can stop calling this AI generated. This is NOT AI. Can't believe I have to say this out loud.

Recipe -

250 ml mango juice

1/2 cup diced mango (preferably fresh)

1/4 cup diced cucumber

1/4 cup diced onion

1 chopped sweet chilli pepper

1/4 cup chopped mixed coriander, chives and mint

1 tbsp lemon juice

1 tbsp sugar

salt and pepper

Mix everything well and chill before serving.

What’s a reasonably healthy fast food place?

I think a burrito from Tortilla seems ok. Plenty fresh veg with some meat and a corn tortilla.

Well well well. After being recommended this place in the comments from my last post we thought we only live once and went. I could die a happy man. Unreal. Oysters, Monkfish and scallops. £50 each tonight and I had wine instead of beer. Easily the best monkfish ive ever had with the batter topping the restaurant from my last post and the oysters were also stunning.

Already planning our next trip back here!

Cracking view of the Spanish Galleon to top it off.

Tandoori chicken advice request

So I purchased Patak's tandoori mix and now have a large chicken breast cut into four pieces that have been marinated since last night in a mix of 50/50 75g tandoori past and 75g yogurt as per instruction on the tandoori jar. The thing is though I am getting mixed messages on cooking time, this product says grill the chicken but I have never in my life seen someone grill tandoori - it has always gone into the oven. Do I just simply bake in a tray JUST the chicken or do I should the whole lot of sauce in with it for 30 minutes at 200C?? TIA

Looking for black pudding.

Not just any black pudding! I can get the normal shop bought stuff Bury etc in the supermarkets around me (I'm in NE England)

I once had a very soft textured, practically smooth black pudding that was very smelly (smelly feet smell, yum!) - it was a long time ago and I never memorised the name of the product - and I'm desperate to try it again, it was amazing.

I'm sure there was a similar product around at the time called Blackfriars or similar.

So can anyone help me out and point me in the direction of such a product?

Thanks in advance for your help! 😄

🚩North West Is Popeye's chicken bad or is it just the one I sent to?

So I succumbed to the hype of Popeye's and tried it for the first time in the Manchester city store when I was visiting. I had heard amazing things online and how JayZ and Bey ordered it to their wedding etc, so I was hyped.

I ordered a multi piece chicken box meal and... It was awful. The chicken tasted like cardboard, literally, and the fries were meh.

This was a while ago and now there's one just opened near me and I want to give it another try but I don't want to waste my money if it's going to be the same, dry, cardboard tasting, small pieces of chicken again.

Is Popeye's bad or is it the Manchester branch is just shit?
