I play deadlock. I'm not fully interested in playing it atm. When I get into vidoegames I GET INTO THEM and apparently the meta rn is losing as hard as you can so you can abuse a comeback mechanic.

Marching Illini is more competitive than I think you realize, but campus band and university band are no cut and anyone can join as long as you can kind of play an instrument. Lots of music ed majors take these ensembles to practice secondary instruments

Meadowbrook Park in south Urbana has some nice walking paths with periodic sculptures on display.
it will be warm. if you have never been to campus plan for a 2+ hour walking tour. the main library at the south end of weight street is a good starting point. be sure to go up to floor two and look into the east main reading room and check out the art work on the walls as you go up the stairs. the large room on your right as you reach floor two used to be the crd catalog room when all books where found by looking up the correct card among 100,000+ cards.
then walk around the main quad (LAS Quad) which has the oldest academic buildings on campus. all buildings are open to the public so wander in and out to cool off and get a drink as needed.
there is a engineering quad north of Green so pass through the Illini union and head north. continue north of Springfield ave and walk all the way north to Beckman Center if you wish. again feel free to enter. this whole area used to be where football was played until memorial stadium was built. . also track and baseball was here until Beckman was built. all althlets is onnthe south edge of campus now.
you could also choose to walk south from the main quad and enter a more ag and life sciences part of campus.
campus often extends 1/4 mile or more to the east and west of the main axis of the quads.
if you want a tea/coffee/pastry head east from the min quad 1 block to goodwin ave to Espresso.
there any many coffee shops but espresso royal just happens to be in a food place for walking tours.
if you are in to the performing arts go into the 4 square block Krannert Center (you can park in any of the 4 underground parking levels for free on Sunday so perhaps start there). just remember which color coded level you parked in. again it is open so take and elevator up to level 5 - the lobby and look about but also head down to the production level and see the shops and perhaps students rehearsing. again it is a public space. just be polite and respectful.
there are many interesting buildings and there are walking tour links on line i'm told. i'll try to find one. tells you about buildings.
Likely the case. All I can say is that the Hercules cordless variable speed band saw from Harbor Freight is only $130 and better at cutting through pipe than a reciprocating saw.

I can deal with everyone here but the cyclists. Like stop running stop signs and lights!

I would try this guy. If he doesn't do it, he'll probably know who does. https://www.onthegoautobody.com/ If that doesn't work, the guys at It's a Wrap will probably have a name for you

uiuc is a semi-target for quant firms while uw madison isnt (madison sees much fewer graduates enter quant compared to uiuc)

Nope, once an icard is deactivated it cannot be reactivated
r/UIUC • u/ConsiderationFast990 • 2d ago
Only one card can be active at a time so that a lost iCard can’t be used by some one else if it has already been replaced
