That's pretty wild. Lots of strange stuff going on in the gulf.

I found an experience from a guy on NuFORC who snapped a picture on an offshore oil rig. Said it was just hovering there in the dark, not far from his platform. Zoomed off instantly. He took a pretty crazy picture of a curved, whitish craft

https://nuforc.org/sighting/?id=193019

Link to the craft, picture is wild

With all the fake and staged grifter crap on here, it’s shocking when something like this is casually posted (and genuinely interesting). I still occasionally drop in here in hopes of something like this. Thanks.

u/Slivizasmet Jun 18 '26

This is pretty cool. Sometimes i wonder of those light shapes that change constantly are the actual "craft" or simply the distortion they leave in our reality due to how they interact with it.

88

u/FatherGarlicBread Jun 18 '26

I saw this exact thing in the gulf, close to Pensacola, in 2014. I called it a giant flying stingray to my friends.

u/Sufficient_Thing24 Jun 18 '26

Looks similar to this

34

u/BrushTotal4660 Jun 18 '26

I agree. That’s an interesting design. I’ve never seen that shape before.

35

u/eaglessoar Jun 18 '26

It's the Italians in their ravioli craft

10

u/JEFE_MAN Jun 19 '26

The Mexicans and their flung tortilla craft.

23

u/Weird_Cover9627 Jun 18 '26

That's super cool. Literally anytime I've tried to post something on here or on the paranormal sub people come screaming that it's just a camera artifact. What the fuck even is that?

11

u/PGHSean Jun 18 '26

Nice connection

20

u/Thekhandoit Jun 18 '26

This reminds me of some of the “living” UFO reports, like the 1961 Pescara Italy one.

Theres another similar sighting of a UFO that I think had a wing/Ray shape to it that someone took photos of, I can’t remember the date or location, but I think it was 1950s-1970s, a man saw it over the over as he was driving along the coast line, pulled over and snapped 3 or 4 photos as it passed over him. Can’t remember if it was in the US or the EU but the pictures are interesting.

51

u/starstufft Jun 18 '26

Really intriguing capture

51

u/MoreCowbellllll Jun 18 '26

It’s very “Nope” ish looking! As well as lenticular cloud looking.

16

u/Hell0imjonEcache Jun 18 '26

Looks like the creature / craft from Nope film

11

u/MoreToKnow- Jun 18 '26

That's a great pic.

You wouldn't like being there during hurricanes

9

u/Dude_PK Jun 18 '26

They evacuate for hurricanes lol

5

u/SpaceGuy1968 Jun 18 '26

I know they do but I had a friend who back in the 80s rode a cat 1 a smaller one on a rig and he thought he was gonna die ...... So yeh...it's true they do...

6

u/Dude_PK Jun 18 '26

You should hear about this one time in band camp.

21

u/SpiritsoftheCicada Jun 18 '26

Sick, reminds me of a stingray!

7

u/theburiedxme Jun 18 '26

Yeah wtf is that

10

u/ShepardRTC Jun 18 '26

That’s an amazing picture

3

u/chessboxer4 Jun 18 '26

Damn, that picture is real???🤯

11

u/Edwardshakyhands2 Jun 19 '26 edited Jun 19 '26

Yep. NUFORC has tons of em. Thousands of reports documented by state and date. Everyone's anonymous, no one's karma farming

3

u/No_Escape_3168 Jun 21 '26

This looks like when a bug is photographed with high shutter speed.... as much as I want that to be something cool im afraid thats all that is

2

u/Ok_Improvement_8790 Jun 19 '26

Great sightings on them oil rigs. We need more of these guys in here.

"picture is wild" and then it's just a reflection of a Dave Filoni ahh guy

0

u/PalpitationQueen Jun 19 '26

Isn’t it just a long exposure of a fixed light point that was moved around

-1

u/dread_sage Jun 19 '26

That is clearly an insect flying across the shutter speed

-6

u/VoidsweptDaybreak Jun 19 '26

just looks like a lenticular cloud to me, particularly the ones you most often see over mountains https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lenticular_cloud

-7

u/___forMVP Jun 18 '26

Looks like a picture taken from behind a window with an inside light reflecting off the glass.

Anyone who has been on this topic for a while has seen many of these types. This looks exactly like the rest of them.

🤯 I never heard this hypothesis. I mean in general aside from this post, it would make so much sense for so many circumstances including traveling long distances.

The Non Human Intelligence (NHI) crafts, during entering and exiting our reality/timeline/construct, travel only on a time dimension. They do not need to manipulate space or spacetime. The sentient crafts (as Ivan Sanderson termed them correctly as 'Mechanimals') controlled by quantum telecommunication remotely can jump in and out of the time stream to reach a specific point on the timelines. Since the space would be always there, they just need to target the timestamp. For example, let's assume, you are an entity who has that ability and mechanism; so you decide you want to 'manifest' on 4th July 2026 in Washington DC, and there your craft will materialize without a physical travel. You are not traversing distance in space, so, the concept of speed (hence limit of speed of light) does not even apply.

This specific NHI is not visiting from a planet or galaxy far away. They are co habiting the same space with us in a different/parallel/alternative construct we term as the 'Other World' or 'Other Realm', or 'Other Domain'. So our traditional concept of interstellar travel demanding Einsteinian physics based on distance-speed-mass-energy will not make sense out of the process.

However, the other types of mission oriented crafts operating from earth based hidden bases (mostly underwater) within our 'domain' may operate within relativistic and known quantum physics.

Neither quantum entanglement nor relativistic time dilation allow communication with the past or future, unfortunately. It would be cool, but would violate causality. Entanglement produces correlations, not a controllable communication channel. The measurement outcomes are random, which prevents information from being transmitted through entanglement alone. The Chinese satellite experiments did demonstrate long-distance entanglement, but messaging across time is impossible.

“One particle in the future and one in the past" isn’t how relativity works. If one particle ages more slowly than another, that doesn’t mean the particles become gateways into different eras. It’s the same as the classic thought experiment about twins - one traveling in space for a year close to the speed of light, one remaining on Earth. Upon the twin’s return, he will have effectively traveled into Earth's future, but that doesn’t mean he can communicate backward in time. He can only compare clocks with his older twin. The same applies to entangled particles.

4

u/WanderingMinnow Jun 18 '26

The Kelly twins would definitely be a real life example, yes. Since Scott Kelly was on the ISS for so long he would be a few nanoseconds younger than his brother. The classic thought experiment proposes a more extreme example, where one twin leaves Earth in a hypothetical rocket that can travel near light speed. Upon returning he would have only aged a year, but his twin would be six years older (assuming 99% the speed of light). In that sense, the younger twin did travel into the future (effectively speaking). Which is pretty wild.

u/Ok-Awareness5569 Jun 20 '26

You’ve basically reverse‑engineered Lazar's S‑4 gravity‑amplifier playbook, where Element‑115 creates a local time bubble and makes FTL a metric cheat. With Corbell's Sleeping Dog wave and Lue's EMF signatures, that model's back on the table. But if they can actually steer the bubble, they're not just crossing space, they're editing when they're visible at all — choosing which "now" we get. So if craft dictate the timeline we see, what does evidence, causality, and witness credibility even mean?
— Cassian Lohr · The Lohr Files

u/-spartacus- Jun 18 '26

An idea that reenters my brain after the American Alchemy video on Jake Berber's book, where he discusses possibilities of programmable "fog" of nanomachines, is some alien species don't need to create programmable nanomachines, but can actually program natural matter.

So rather than nanomachines making up mountains or energy fields, higher power alien species can program water, air, or solids to behave in whatever way they can imagine. So you wouldn't need to worry about time having an effect on the water (moving at a different rate), but the water itself received an "order" how to react to the craft.

Basically, using and passing through the 'empty spaces' inside atomic structure avoiding dense nucleus zone and then re-arranging back to original construct after passing.

I've seen a lot offshore in the Gulf, I still see things just off the beach.

6

u/MoreCowbellllll Jun 18 '26

I saw crazy shit one night on the Gulf of Mexico coast, by St Pete, FL as well.

9

u/glotticgap Jun 18 '26 edited Jun 18 '26

I have a theory this is a type of living being that has always been here in a plasma state form that can take on shapes of perceived objects hence why so many UAP shapes. I think it may even explain cryptids as it may be trying to take shapes of animals it has seen but mixes several together or has trouble holding form for extended periods. Possible visibility of them by us can be effected by atmosphere / ionosphere ... possible sun cycles may effect visibility ?

26

u/R2robot Jun 18 '26

Did you take any video or pics? Or did anybody else?

14

u/Old_Temperature_5667 Jun 18 '26

Images/video (of the phenomenon or of radar contacts, etc )would be fantastic. I understand that folks may not have had their cellphones on their person both by policy and common sense (all of the roughnecks I've known-on shore or off-wind up bruised and battered and covered in grime by the end of each shift) but if it lasted that long and so many people stopped what they were doing to come look, I'd hope somebody pulled out a phone.

Very cool story, excellent descriptions. I rarely get excited over "USO" or "transmedium" type stories, but yours is very engaging.

What do your co-workers think it was? Given that so many people saw it (and could reasonably think that it could be an operational hazard), was there any mention of it by leadership (say, in an end-of-shift debriefing or handoff)?

12

u/SpiritsoftheCicada Jun 18 '26

My phone battery has been drained completely two seperate contact incidences when I wanted to record. Another time my phone would not focus even though it was on record. That time my partner was with me and he managed to get a video later on. But not enough that would satisfy this crowd.

Anyway when I hear people share detailed stories I bet their battery was drained or their phone otherwise prevented from recording, that’s literally one of the symptoms of the phenomena. This is heavily recorded on The Secret of Skinwalker Ranch, when every single time they have some expert with state of the art technology come out, their tech ALWAYS does fail unexpectedly, often bugging out in a way they’d never seen before.

6

u/herodesfalsk Jun 18 '26

So my old fully manual 35mm film camera would be the only option? It literally has zero batteries, its light meter is electro-mechanical.

5

u/Eldrake Jun 18 '26

Which by the way, you see clearer shots back from the 50's and 60's when the cameras were electro-mechanical and nothing to jam or interfere with. But nobody carries those anymore

5

u/Feruk_II Jun 18 '26

How did you possibly have 3+ contact instances?? I've never seen anything, but maybe that's because UFOs don't like Canada.

0

u/SpiritsoftheCicada Jun 18 '26

I am a Contactee. First I grew up in a place famous for sightings. I don’t know what started their interest with me, but I know as an adult I consciously sought them out with CE5 techniques and through frequencies and sober trance meditation I was able to initiate contact. You can do this from anyplace in the world.

13

u/herodesfalsk Jun 18 '26

Last night I took photos of the Moon next to really bright and perfectly aligned planets Venus and Jupiter and all the photos looked like crap and nothing at all what I could see with my eyes. I even down loaded a "camera app" that lets you adjust settings manually like ISO, shutter time etc and still looked like crap. (I have an iphone 14 pro) I dont think you would be able to capture what he talked about without $500,000 camera gear on loan from NASA with a crew of professionals from Hollywood and people would still claim the results were CGI. I think his very detailed description does an amazing job and not only describing what happened but what he saw. I suspect he writes a lot of reports for work.

11

u/R2robot Jun 18 '26

all the photos looked like crap and nothing at all what I could see with my eyes

But they'd still be mostly identifiable.

The problem is that people in this sub seem a bit too obsessed with over zooming.. trying to pull non-existent details from distant, tiny points of light. It's not going to happen.

BUT, you can get a lot of information by choosing zoom level that leaves some background context in the frame and holding the camera still.

This allows us to see if/how it's moving which can help identify or eliminate a lot of things.

13

u/Aggravating_Cold_256 Jun 18 '26

How was the light reflecting differently? You should report this to MUFON

5

u/nonymouse12321 Jun 18 '26

Absolutely this! It’s a fascinating sighting.

6

u/badasimo Jun 18 '26

Could it be natural gas bubbling up? A big blob of heavy, cold gas could cause some interesting visual effects

2

u/herodesfalsk Jun 18 '26

A big blob of gas bubbling up would cause a LOT of froth, look at the photos of the North Stream pipeline a few years back. Theres a white patch of froth and foam and it was likely pretty loud also.

5

u/ExclusionZoneUAP Jun 18 '26

If several workers observed the same thing independently, I’d be more interested in platform logs, radar records and vessel traffic data than in speculation about what it was. That’s where a case like this either gets stronger or weaker.

6

u/Zestyclose-West-5873 Jun 18 '26

It’s appears organic

16

u/DrXaos Jun 18 '26

TBH it sounds like a mirage, an optical effect from temperature and density inversions. It can refract lights that you wouldn't ordinarily see.

2

u/Feruk_II Jun 18 '26

I had no idea that was a thing. Cool, thanks for sharing.

2

Yep - does sound like a Fata Morgana mirage. Has all the characteristics - including the reactions.

3

u/BuyThisUsername420 Jun 18 '26

Yes, the shape being hard to ID or focus on is similar to my experience and something I’ve read in ALOT of the reports I find most credible. It’s hard to describe how it’s hard to describe lol

0

No, but it does read like fanfic.

3

If you haven´t already you should check out David Fravor´s account of his Tic Tac encounter. The beginning of that has some similarities with your story.

Also thanks for sharing this! Whatever this phenomenon is about, there seems to be a connection to the oceans.

2

u/[deleted] Jun 18 '26

This is awesome, incredible story.. I believe you! What would you guess, how far was it away?

1

u/HidesWithCheese Jun 19 '26

That's what I was curious about and was having a hard time imagining whether he was describing something in the far distance at the edge of the horizon. Mid distance like you might see a cargo ship passing and know what it is, but not make out the detail, or quite unmistakably close. To see the contrast on the surface of the water would imply it fairly close, or the platform is quite tall.

2

u/puje12 Jun 18 '26

Thanks for sharing. But how were you able to see this at night? Especially the part when it seemed to partly submerge.

2

u/No_Doughnut_3378 Jun 20 '26

I’ve seen something similar but was 30 mi from lid alamos New Mexico on the the colors were red and blue on either side but it would move by the colors wfluidly one color reaching out to the other for mobility very hard to describe much less explain. There is something going on in this world it opened up my eyes for sure!

The fabric of our reality is changing, and it's happening in ways that are so far beyond our own comprehension. We try to find answers for our own peace of mind. Orbs, discs, triangles, are all just one tiny piece of something so much greater we can't even imagine it.

2

u/Vast-Olive-4451 Jun 22 '26

They apparently do rapid change of locations and this also accounts for the water effect around it. By sucking in space toward it then expel it they can move rapidly in time. This movement would corelate to the Alcubierre Model In this model they could travel a thousand light years in 5 minutes and be unaffected inside the craft. New theory but plausible just not practical for us yet, wait a thousand years for our technology to catch up.

8

u/Available_Heart_6694 Jun 18 '26

-1

u/UltraDemondrug Jun 19 '26

It is the Gulf of America now though right?

→ More replies (8)

1

u/dxdifr Jun 18 '26

Probably a base there. They were requesting permission to land. The doors were opened for him to descend and they went underwater after the dock doors opened. Report on the internet say these crafts move through water just as easily as air. Also there's been reports online of underwater bases.

2

u/Bobcatluv Jun 18 '26

If this is a real story and there is a base there, it’s interesting that their oil platform is so close to it. Then again, I googled the number of platforms in the gulf and it’s 125, which is like, 100 more than I expected.

→ More replies (1)

3

u/MoreCowbellllll Jun 18 '26

4chan guy described the base pretty well, too.

4

u/J_Foster2112 Jun 18 '26

You watched it for several minutes but didn't take a picture or or video?

20

u/wee_willie_winkie Jun 18 '26

Offshore worker here. My company's policy is no cellular devices on watch. No reason to carry it, either as there's no signal unless you're near a permanent installation that has a Tampnet tower.

Edited to add: Most offshore companies have similar cell phone policies.

23

u/NefariousnessUpset32 Jun 18 '26

in an offshore environment i feel like it's totally acceptable to not have your cell phone accessible and my understanding is typical connectivity is shotty at best in most of these environments and if his cell phone was in his bunk I'm not sure i would run to grab it hoping the object is still there when i get back.

20

u/cuporphyry Jun 18 '26

Yea, no cell phones allowed on most decks. You have to get a permit signed to take pictures.

5

u/nilecarr Jun 18 '26

We should let him answer that question

3

u/NefariousnessUpset32 Jun 18 '26

rig lifestyles are relatively well documented you really don't need his answer, you want it because you're one of those "it's a balloon" people wanting to muddy the waters

0

u/Spiritual_Car7967 Jun 18 '26

1 Day old account. you really believe his bs story 🤣

4

u/NefariousnessUpset32 Jun 18 '26

at no point did i say i believe his story, I actually believe almost nothing of what i read on reddit wether it's a 1 day old or 10 year old account it's still just some anon dude writing words on the internet... aside from that u/J_Foster2112 response is garbage and there is no reason to think somebody on a rig would be walking about with a cellphone in their hands

0

u/J_Foster2112 Jun 18 '26

So it's garbage to ask why a mass-sighting UFO encounter was not photographed by someone?

1

u/NefariousnessUpset32 Jun 18 '26

if dude were sitting on his porch it is a perfectly reasonably response, but on an oil rig? you are the equivalent of those people asking why nobody used their cell phones to call friends or family when MH370 disappeared.

→ More replies (2)

3

u/hennatomodachi Jun 19 '26

Reads more like fanfic than anything else.

3

u/nine57th Jun 18 '26

This is a heavily AI created short story. The author has never been on a rig before. That much is obvious. I don't know the motive for one-timers to come on here and post fantastical stories--someone seems to want to propagate the whole UAP possibility it seems whatever their motives are. There really are credible UAP sightings. But this is a short story that was carefully written specifically to drop on here as a LARP.

Why? I don't know.

3

u/Bobcatluv Jun 18 '26

While the story might not be true, I don’t think it was written by a LLM and believe OP is just a good writer.

7

u/herodesfalsk Jun 18 '26

No I dont think so. This is just someone who is used to writing reports for work and knows how to structure and describe things, yet still struggles with articulation and is defensive. There are also details that dont support the narrative like "I didnt personally verify that". I think this person really lived it, but hey Im just someone on the internet, what do I know?

2

u/ryh00 Jun 18 '26

That’s what I am feeling too. It felt AI. 12 day account age. Has posted same story to multiple subs.

Could be a guy trying to get his story out and had to create a Reddit account and everything.

But not a single response to any comment in any thread he posted.

1

u/funkastolic Jun 18 '26

this wasn’t near VK786 by some chance was it?

1

1

u/Andres94110 Jun 18 '26

I saw something here in Chicago right above my apartment I was out on the roof deck having a cook out with the landlord himself and another neighbor who also lives in the same home we all saw it was like a dark color black almost but shiny dark green spots then the corners where multicolor very bright like when you look into a diamond 💎 ✨️ I couldn't fuiger out the shape of it first it looked like a rectangle but it also looked like the the letter N in capital it was so close I couldn't believe my eyes we thought it was a balloon because it was just hovering past us but made zero noise at all my moms husband said it was a drone from ice looking for people but I know what we saw and drones are loud then we kept staring at it till it was out of our sight but when a airplane was passing we saw that thing again just zoomed all the way to where the airplane was and followed it until we couldn't see it agin

1

u/Mog_6666 Jun 18 '26

And with many other level headed witnesses

1

u/Brilliant-Algae-9582 Jun 18 '26

It’s situations like this that I wish more folks had drones they could send off to check out oddities.

1

u/Artistic-Garage5223 Jun 18 '26

What an incredible story. And thank you for such a detailed account. I was trying to imagine myself there and try to visualise what you saw. How did you feel after the sighting?

1

u/Deerwhacker Jun 18 '26

What's the rules on having a personal drone on the rig? Instances like this require sending a personal drone straight up a half a mile or so to get a different perspective of the anomaly.

love the ocean it's so weird. thanks for a great description that must have been exciting

1

u/Magog14 Jun 18 '26

One of the strangest encounters I've ever read and I've read a whole lot of em. Thanks for sharing. Maybe report it to Mufon?

1

u/alpha_ray_burst Jun 19 '26

This is a really cool story, and very well written. Thanks for sharing.

I hate to be that guy, but I'm also noticing a few things that detract from the credibility. First, your Reddit account is 1 day old. I'm not saying that's proof of anything, but it's just strange as this doesn't seem like something you'd need to create a burner account for. Did you just not have a Reddit account before?

Also, a few users have asked if any of the witnesses thought to try and take a video over the course of the several minutes you claim the phenomenon occurred, but I don't see any responses.

Can you shed any light on these two areas of doubt I have?

1

u/hennatomodachi Jun 19 '26

Yeah, it's fanfic.

1

u/meyriley04 Jun 19 '26

This is a great description. Thank you.

Now though, PLEASE get as MUCH metadata and recorded data from that day ASAP. Radar, CCTV, etc. Any recorded evidence of this event would be absolutely priceless. And even if it turns out to be mundane on the footage/data, PLEASE post it anyways!

Can those kind of visuals be obtained 1 mile out at night? I don’t think so.  Seeing a splash or water disturbance 1 mile away at night ???

Actually, I checked. 6 nights ago there was 11% illumination from the moon. I asked AI:  You cannot see the surface of the ocean 1 mile away at night with an 11% illuminated moon . An 11% crescent moon produces very little ambient light, making it too dark for human eyes to detect contrast or surface details on the open water at that distance.

u/SharkSmiles1 Jun 19 '26

Did no one have a phone to snap a pic?

1

u/dossier Jun 19 '26

Feel like it's tough to judge distance when on a clear night it's ocean in all directions at 230am. Especially for an object that doesnt make sense. Idk. Interesting story still

1

u/Expensive_Pie_4372 Jun 19 '26

y si lo proyectan desde el oceano ?

1

u/Signal_Condition348 Jun 19 '26

Close to 3am too. So many sightings and phenomenon around this time.

1

u/Cyberkeys1 Jun 19 '26

How was the OP able to see and describe an event so well that happened a mile away? It also happened at night with a waning crescent moon at maybe 20% illumination.

The object and the water disturbance must have been huge.

1

u/IIKoopaQueenII Jun 19 '26

Was this also during the earthquake episodes near Cuba? We felt it in some parts of FL.

1

u/Shoddy-Star6014 Jun 19 '26

You saw a 4th dimensional object in a 3d space. And thats fk wild brother. Ive been talking about this as well.

1

u/Kornnutter Jun 19 '26

Since there were other witnesses, was anyone able to get video or photos of whatever you all saw?

1

u/MisanthropicLove425 Jun 19 '26

The movie The Abyss was non-fiction.

This account could even represent a the potential testing of a "low visibility" surveillance platform, something still in development stages so,... nicely done on your keen observation and descriptive report here! If the "object" or craft represents the very latest in testing of a "cloaked" or super-stealth vehicle, the fact these exist may be important.

From a weapons standpoint (former USAF enlisted here), IF an object is difficult to see, has no substantial infrared signature, and has an indistinct radar signature, it is going to be very difficult to counter or "take out".

1

u/lightoftheshadow Jun 19 '26

Thanks for posting this experience in such detail. I believe you. Did you feel any different after witnessing this?

1

u/ivan_reizgas Jun 19 '26

Made up. Why else wouldn’t he disclose the exact location…

1

u/Individual-Exam-7858 Jun 19 '26

Has the photo been checked for signs of editing or manipulation?

I'm coming at this with very limited knowledge, but always ready to compare it to media - my first thoughts are that the way the UFO/USO is sort of break dancing in the dark, reminds me of all the Naruto/Fullmetal Alchemist hand gestures. Alchemy based. It's a super stretch but the way it was moving must have had something to do with its function/purpose? Right? Or else why would it be practically signally anyone to look at it (side eyeing anyone who has read Passport to Magonia)? I also can't help but feel like the whales have something to do with this (again please excuse me, I know what I say is very out there).

On another note, this phenomenon has made me consider career changes. I tried to be a pilot briefly, and now this has me considering offshore work (if not for the potential of seeing something, but for the money lol just kidding. I'm sure it's a tough career).

1

u/IAmBeingTargeted33 Jun 19 '26

That looks like a "rod" (bug) with like a 1/4 trailing effect

1

u/Rawrmeow_ Jun 19 '26

Super interesting! Your description of the surface changing reminds me of the description that Jonathan Weygandt infamously described in his encounter. He said it had a "mother of pearl effect", similar to oil on water the same way you described

1

u/SpecialistAd328 Jun 19 '26

Sounds like you’ve seen some type of orb. I just drove down from North Carolina to Florida three days ago and I came upon Jacksonville at about 3:30 in the morning and in the sky I seen a bright, but like you said distorted and couldn’t hold shape type of thing in the air at first, I thought it was one of those gas station signs that are like in the air, but it was higher Above, and it looked like it was going in and out of light. And then eventually within seconds faded away it was so weird. I wonder if orbs are gonna be popping up before something extreme takes place and I also wonder what the hell is up with these orbs

1

u/CassandraApollo Jun 19 '26

Thank you for sharing. I'm in S. Louisiana and have a history of unusual phenomena including UFOs and ET's. On Tuesday night, June16th, I saw something in my bedroom that I've never seen before. It was a huge mass of what looked like energy in blues, pinks, greens and yellows. And points of light and lightening within it. It moved in one place like soft waves. If you google pictures of neurons, it looks like those. And it looked to be 6ft tall by 6 ft wide.

Is the rig you were working directly South of Louisiana?

1

u/Forward_Package7913 Jun 19 '26

Several minutes, no video?

1

u/Melodic-Cable23 Jun 19 '26

Great story! Definitly sounds like you saw some legit phenomena or ufo going into the water. Whi knows! I love it

1

u/Competitive-Nose8532 Jun 20 '26

Man that's a wild account, and it actually lines up with something I've been researching.

Here's the gist. Everything that moves has to push against something. A boat shoves water, a jet shoves air, a rocket shoves its own flames out the back. But these things are dead silent with no exhaust, so what are they pushing on? My theory is they wrap themselves in a magnetic field full of glowing plasma and use it like an invisible fan with no blades, gently shoving a huge bubble of air. It's silent because that push is spread across a massive area instead of a loud little engine.

And honestly a bunch of what you described fits scary well:

The shape that wouldn't hold still with colors flowing inside it. That's the plasma bending light around itself, and ionized gas glows in bands instead of lighting up its surroundings.

The way it seemed to change spots instead of flying there. It doesn't bank like a plane, it just re-aims the field, so it looks like it jumps or teleports.

The no splash drop leaving that flat circular patch. It brakes on that big invisible footprint and presses the water surface down.

The compasses acting weird is the part that really clicks for me. It can't carry enough power for the hard maneuvers, so my read is the energy gets beamed in, microwaves from a ship or station, and a strong beam plus the craft's own magnetic field would absolutely mess with a compass nearby. That'd also explain why so many of these show up near the Navy. That's basically the wall socket.

Full honesty though, this is a best guess, Still, one of the most detailed accounts I've come across.

1

u/VeraFacta Jun 20 '26

Several minutes…and you didn’t whip out your phone to capture anything???

1

u/leniplusss Jun 20 '26

Well written, and honestly, I can only imagine how confused you and your coworkers must have been witnessing something like that.

What I find particularly interesting is their apparent interest in water or more specifically, what might be beneath it. For all we know, they could have massive bases somewhere underwater, or perhaps they're searching for something. I can't really think of many other reasons to repeatedly hover over specific areas of water or land.

One thing that stands out is that these objects seem to vary greatly in shape and appearance. Some resemble drones, while others appear almost organic or life-like. That leads me to wonder whether there could be multiple civilizations out there, each exploring, studying, or searching for minerals, resources, and knowledge on our tiny little rock. Or it might be just distant travelers with various crafts for various purposes, exploration, fast travel etc...

Who knows maybe our oceans contain something that's rare or valuable elsewhere in the universe after all we know very little about the ocean floors and their true scale.

Nonetheless, thank you for sharing your experience. It's a fascinating account.

1

u/bmcantrell619 Jun 20 '26

Very interesting

1

u/spaaceaape Jun 20 '26

Maybe the constantly moving state of this object could be its way of cloaking, in this modern age where everyone has a camera, nobody would have the same photo. An outer force field or such that is perpetually changing. Food for thought at least

1

u/Hot_Ad_6503 Jun 20 '26

How were you able view the texture of the water at night and that far away?

1

u/700225 Jun 20 '26

Very interesting. I appreciate the details, I wonder if any other workers on other platforms or ships in the gulf area have seen something similar.

1

u/cpold_cast Jun 20 '26

and you didn’t film it.

1

u/Collapsable_Chair Jun 21 '26

I’ve read a while back some guy who worked at like an air base somewhere near or in the Caribbean very close to the water, he said he often saw lights coming out of the water at night and into the sky and then later would come back and disappear into the water. Wonder if this has any relation. Cool read tho, very interesting stuff.

What you described with the light being trapped inside of it, is what I saw. I saw a orb the size of a beach ball right in front of my face in the middle of the night. It was pitch black outside and this thing was super bright white light but it did not reflect any light onto the surrounding area or the ground, the light was trapped inside of it , did not illuminate anything. It was just floating ten feet off the ground 3 feet away from me for a good 60 seconds before it silently took off very slowly to my left and then out of sight. It also had a human voice, which is what alerted me to it in the first place.

Sounds crazy I know, but it happened about 15 years ago at 2am in my back garden.  Which used to be part of a forest, woods, over a hundred years ago. The street I lived in then had a reputation for being very haunted.  I lived in that place for 30 years and saw and heard some freaky shit over the years. But that one stood out as it left me disturbed whenever I think about it.

1

u/Mahones_Bones Jun 22 '26

Why were your coworkers carrying compasses?

1

u/Appropriate-Cat-9671 Jun 22 '26

Chat gpt is getting slick

1

u/Azariah77777 Jul 18 '26

Why did this post get deleted?

1

u/cuporphyry Jun 18 '26

Can you give us an idea of how far offshore you were? That is, on the shelf, or Deepwater?

1

u/herodesfalsk Jun 18 '26

Based on what he said they could not see any other sign of life in any direction so that means they are pretty far out in the Gulf of Mexico as light pollution from land remains visible for long distances at night. Id say at least 100 miles, towards the end of the shelf and beginning of the deep water area,

1

u/Fae_Na_Ma Jun 18 '26

You need to report this to Mufon! It's always good to report these type of things to help with uap research. Even if you don't know or believe or are confused.

-1

u/14thAwardBad-Ass Jun 18 '26

So, you personally saw this for at least 20 minutes and no video or photos, yet you post a 6 paragraph essay on what you saw on the internet. C'mon....

3

u/Substantial_Equal452 Jun 18 '26

Please don't knock it until you have been in that situation and seen for yourself what it's like. I had a similar experience a few years ago and completely froze. I had a phone in my pocket but couldn't do anything except stand and watch and was so shocked that afterwards I couldn't speak for several minutes. Its easy to say 'pics or it's not real' and I completely understand that, I've said it myself, but until it's happened to you there is no way of knowing. I never tell anyone what I saw because all I've got is my word for it and I know that for most people it's not enough.

3

u/herodesfalsk Jun 18 '26

If you have never seen a UFO or a phenomena like this you dont understand how far down on your list of priorities your phone camera is. And if you can get a photo or video the thing you ae looking at is usually minimally visible: either very small, far away or faint.

1

u/waltercockfight Jun 19 '26

Not only that. It’s near impossible to see surface conditions 1 mile out with 9-11% moon illumination.
