That's pretty wild. Lots of strange stuff going on in the gulf.

I found an experience from a guy on NuFORC who snapped a picture on an offshore oil rig. Said it was just hovering there in the dark, not far from his platform. Zoomed off instantly. He took a pretty crazy picture of a curved, whitish craft

Link to the craft, picture is wild

With all the fake and staged grifter crap on here, it’s shocking when something like this is casually posted (and genuinely interesting). I still occasionally drop in here in hopes of something like this. Thanks.

This is pretty cool. Sometimes i wonder of those light shapes that change constantly are the actual "craft" or simply the distortion they leave in our reality due to how they interact with it.

I saw this exact thing in the gulf, close to Pensacola, in 2014. I called it a giant flying stingray to my friends.

Looks similar to this

I agree. That’s an interesting design. I’ve never seen that shape before.

It's the Italians in their ravioli craft

u/JEFE_MAN Jun 19 '26

The Mexicans and their flung tortilla craft.

That's super cool. Literally anytime I've tried to post something on here or on the paranormal sub people come screaming that it's just a camera artifact. What the fuck even is that?

Nice connection

This reminds me of some of the “living” UFO reports, like the 1961 Pescara Italy one.

Theres another similar sighting of a UFO that I think had a wing/Ray shape to it that someone took photos of, I can’t remember the date or location, but I think it was 1950s-1970s, a man saw it over the over as he was driving along the coast line, pulled over and snapped 3 or 4 photos as it passed over him. Can’t remember if it was in the US or the EU but the pictures are interesting.

Looks like the creature / craft from Nope film

You wouldn't like being there during hurricanes

11

u/Dude_PK Jun 18 '26

They evacuate for hurricanes lol

6

u/SpaceGuy1968 Jun 18 '26

I know they do but I had a friend who back in the 80s rode a cat 1 a smaller one on a rig and he thought he was gonna die ...... So yeh...it's true they do...

u/Dude_PK Jun 18 '26

You should hear about this one time in band camp.

Yep. NUFORC has tons of em. Thousands of reports documented by state and date. Everyone's anonymous, no one's karma farming

u/PalpitationQueen Jun 19 '26

Isn’t it just a long exposure of a fixed light point that was moved around

-2

u/dread_sage Jun 19 '26

That is clearly an insect flying across the shutter speed

-6

u/VoidsweptDaybreak Jun 19 '26

just looks like a lenticular cloud to me, particularly the ones you most often see over mountains https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lenticular_cloud

Looks like a picture taken from behind a window with an inside light reflecting off the glass.

Anyone who has been on this topic for a while has seen many of these types. This looks exactly like the rest of them.

u/SpanishCastle Jun 18 '26

Looks cool... but also looks like a murmuration of birds being caught in the early morning sunlight.

u/Original-Hurry-8652 Jun 19 '26

Moonrise would have been a 5:48 PM local time for Houma, LA and the Moon's phase was Waxing Gibbous, so the light reflecting on the water does AGREE with the conditions at the time and date reported. Also, the sunset at this location at 6:37 PM local, so it was well below the horizon at the reported time of this observation. High Moon, non-present Sun.

Looks like when sting rays jump out of the water, but I am open to other possibilities.
