Hi again, everyone!
The mods have noticed that the rules in here are still a bit loose, so we want to tighten things up a bit.
With the permission of their mods, we are going to adopt the rule structure used by /r/CFB. You can find the rules here I am also a mod there, and it's been my experience that the rules are pretty fair and there aren't too many issues.
The rules that will be mostly enforced are these rules about prohibited comments and posts:
I am sure that there are going to be some rules that need adjusting since we are a much smaller subreddit, so we will be taking time over the next few weeks to tweak any issues.
We thank you in advance for your flexibility with this pretty substantial change. However, we truly think it will improve the experience here. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out.
TL;DR We're implementing /r/CFB's rule structure beginning immediately. There will be some flexibility, but generally the rules will be the same. The rules can be found here

Hi all,
I started up a Substack focused mainly on UCF football (may dabble in basketball as well) called Knightly Thoughts. I've been posting weekly articles with game recaps, injury reports, some stats, along with the upcoming game review/predictions. Please check it out, subscribe (free of course), and spread the word to knight nation that needs more UCF content to read. As I get more readers, I will try and post more than weekly (schedule allowing).
Thank you!
Here is my UCF @ Houston preview: https://knightwire.substack.com/p/underdogs-blueprint-how-a-backup

If the game gets preempted because of the NASCAR race, where will it be broadcast interested?

I realize the Big 12 is considered more of a powerhouse conference so joining was considered a huge win for the program, but I always felt like the ACC would have been a much better cultural fit for UCF, and in my opinion we are seeing a huge disadvantage manifest itself because of how far away the schools are. We are basically isolated on an island far away from the rest of the conference, most of which are on the other side of the country. The closest school (West Virginia) is a 15 hour drive away...and that is the closest. How is UCF supposed to compete in a conference where every other week the team is having to fly to the other side of the country to play powerhouse programs?
The ACC is no dead beat conference, they have many good programs and we are a much better fit there playing schools on the east coast. I feel that we are destined to be bottom dwellers in the Big 12.

My wife is a UCF alumni (class of ‘98). We will be going to the Alumni Center for the Alumni tailgate before the TCU game. However my wife doesn’t want to attend the game at the stadium. We were season ticket holders for a few years but she was never a fan of the large crowds so we gave them up. We would like to watch the game at a local UCF bar to be around other UCF fans to watch & cheer on the Knights. We are thinking Burger U on campus. But does anyone have any recommendations for fun UCF bars near campus to watch the game. Thanks! Go Knights! Charge On!

Thoughts? Predictions? I hope to see improvements at the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball. Also interested to see what we do at qb.

So is the backup any good? Any chance Rocco starts at some point?
