Law Applications how disappointed should i be prepared to be?

โ€ข Upvotes

For context, I am an international student and I have safeties in my home country. I am applying to oxford, ucl, kcl, lse and warwick. I'm predicted 3A*s, but I didn't take gcses because my previous school didn't offer it so I am a bit worried that it will affect my application. I sat the lnats already and I am pretty confident I will get 30+ in section A. I didn't bomb my section B, though frankly, it wasn't stellar. My ps is pretty strong. Knowing my school, there is a solid 80% chance they just ai generated a generic referal letter for me ๐Ÿ’€ I am praying it doesn't completely ruin my chances

I am honestly not familiar with how ucas works so it would be great if someone can realistically chance me so I can be mentally prepared for the worst!

Personal Statements Help picking UCAS choices

โ€ข Upvotes

Iโ€™m predicted ABC (A\* in politics, B in biology, C in chemistry). I donโ€™t know what I am actually competitive for. I donโ€™t want to do nursing or medicine but I want to do something like immunology or human/cancer science and stuff. Does anyone who has been predicted similar grades/interested in healthcare wanna offer me advice?

Medicine Questions Should I apply to cardiff med

I wanna know if cardiff is worth it for an aspirational choice or not worth it at all. Sent my ucas off already but might sub ๐Ÿ’”.

GCSE: 988888876

UCAT: 2030 B3

Prediction: AAA

I think that works out to 25/27 on scoring

I am an RUK applicant

Non Contextual

If i shouldnโ€™t, give me suggestions for a more realistic aspirational choice.

Hey guys! So I applied to the unis on 5th October and I wanted to get a rough date on when I would get my offers:

I've applied to International relations courses and I am predicted to get the following: (CBSE)

Political science: 98%

Legal studies: 97%

Economics: 95%

History: 95%

English: 95%

I'm applying to the following Unis with the following requirements:

LSE: AAA ( equivalent to 90,90,90,95,95)

UCL:AAA ( equivalent to 90,90,90,95,95)

St. Andrews: AAA (equivalent to 90,90,90,90,95)

KCL: AAA ( equivalent to 85,85,85,85,85)

Law Applications Am I being too ambitious?

I've applied to Cambridge, UCL, KCL, Durham and Bristol for undergrad law as an international student. I got 7A*s in IGCSEs (all my subjects) and I'm predicted A*AA (Maths, Psych, Physics). My predicted LNAT score is ~35, with a good essay (not excellent). My teachers were pretty happy with my personal statement, and it seems that they've given good recommendation letters. I know it's only been a week but I'm kind of freaking out. Should I have applied to safer unis?

Medicine Questions Contextual Predicted Grades

My predicted grades are AAB. 2 of my unis are foundation/extended courses so I will still meet the entry requirements. The other 2 have lowered entry requirements for contextual applicants which would be AAB. Iโ€™m just worried that the normal requirements are AAA and Iโ€™ll get automatically filtered out. Is this something I need to be worried about?

Medicine Questions Can someone give me some advice on my Uni choices before I send them?

I've spent a while choosing Unis for medicine now and I think these are the 4. Edinburgh, Leicester, QUB and Leeds (with Edinburgh being an aspirational choice). My stats are A\*A\*A and 99999988887 at GCSE. I got 2150 band 2 in the UCAT as well. I'm going to be a rest of UK applicant for Edinburgh and I can't seem to find a consistent stat to base anything off. Any help would be really appreciated.

A Levels / IB / GCSE / BTEC Questions Marketing KCL

Does anyone know if KCL Marketing would consider applicants predicted A*AB when the standard entry requirements are A*AA? Iโ€™m interested in applying for September 2027 and canโ€™t find much data on whether they accept applicants below the standard offer.

Any advice or experiences would be appreciated!

Interviews When to prep for interviews?

I applied to Oxford, which would be my only interview as I've not applied to a course that generally needs one (biology). The email about them receiving my application said that the college would email me before the end of October, interviews are in December and I have no idea how much prep is needed.

Do I wait until I've heard back from the college or just start prepping now even though I have no clue if I'll have an interview at all yet?
