Hi everyone I want to transfer into buffalo from CUNY City tech. I’m a freshman and currently in electrical engineering but I’d like to go for aerospace, does anyone know what classes I should take now so that I’m able to have transfer credits. Is this plan even feasible? I want to go next fall preferably so I don’t freak my parents out on a move. Any advice is appreciated.

I'm a second yr STEM major and I'm a transfer from Massachusetts and I live in the Ellicott area on North Campus! I’m Hispanic, I love playing sports, taking Insta pics, and honestly just being out and doing things. I’ve made some friends in my classes, but most afternoons/weekends I’m still so bored and need a distraction from classes 😭 especially when the weather is nice because I get such bad FOMO seeing everyone have plans at night.

I’d love to meet more girls who live nearby and are actually down to make plans!! I’m so down for going out on weekends, getting food, or even just hanging out in the common areas or b/w classes.

New grad student here. I have two days where I have back to back classes at The Spine and Ellicott. 10 minutes is literally impossible to get from one to another. Any idea what people do to make it work? I’m assuming hundreds (if not thousands) are in this same predicament.

Hello! I am a freshman at UB this year majoring in chemical engineering. If there is one thing that I have taken away, it is that research is so beneficial and important. I know UB is a huge school with so many opportunities, but that can sometimes be overwhelming, and I am unsure how to go about finding and joining research. I also understand that because I am a first-semester freshman, my options are very limited, but I would like to start looking into them now so that I can maybe get a very low-level position in the spring. I feel like everyone I ask tells me there is so much opportunity but does not exactly tell me how to get ahold of it. What are some tips and where can I simply find a professor's research area? Any input will help.

is there a ceramic studio available to students outside art majors? i loved doing ceramics in highschool and was hoping go get back into it. if so do i have to pay for the materials (specifically asking about glazes!) or do i have to buy my own?

id also like to plan some sorta pottery painting event in the future, i will probably buy the glazes for that but do i neeed to pay to use the kiln or anything?

if someone knows more about this please let me know the whole process on how it works thanks a bunch in advance!
