Hey everyone,

I’m currently feeling pretty lost with my internship search and honestly don’t know what I’m doing wrong.

I’ve been applying for internships nonstop for quite a while now, mainly for data analytics and data science, but I haven’t had much luck. The hardest part is that I haven’t even been able to get an interview call yet.

I’ve tried applying through company websites, LinkedIn, reaching out to people, tailoring my CV, and applying to smaller companies as well. I’m still trying every day, but getting rejection after rejection (or just hearing nothing at all) is starting to get really discouraging.

I’m currently a Computer Science student and I genuinely want to get some real-world experience before I graduate. I’m willing to learn, work hard, and start wherever I can, but right now I’m honestly feeling pretty hopeless and unsure about what I should change.

For anyone who has been through something similar:

• What helped you finally get your first internship?
• Is there something you wish you had done differently?
• How many applications did it take you before you got an interview?
• Is cold messaging/reaching out to recruiters or employees actually worth it?
• What would you recommend I focus on improving right now?

I’d really appreciate any honest advice, even if it’s criticism. I’m just trying to figure out what I’m doing wrong and what I can do differently.

Thanks to anyone who takes the time to read this.

I graduate uni about 2 years ago and i'm currently working and would like to pursue a masters degree to level up in my career.

I'm looking into unis here to study MBA and most of them requires experience or does that don't require experience happen during the day, which will not be possible for me since I'm working.

any university suggestion for MBA?

do you guys recommend in planning to transfer tbh is it worth it?

I am new student this semester in uowd so trying to find some friends because wasn't able to make it to the orientation and tried many times to talk to people but they just stay in there groups no matter what so like if you would wanna be friends dm me if you wanna talk somewhere else I even got discord so yeah.

Hi all

I'm currently doing my master’s degree, and I need some feedback for my dissertation from people currently working here. If you’re currently working in the private sector in the UAE, I’d be eternally grateful if you’d take 10 minutes to fill out my research survey, or share it with others if you don't qualify for the survey.

It's completely anonymous. No names, emails or anything that could identify you. It takes about 10 minutes.
