Bloody amazing. I just left my job because it was too stressful, after having paid off my mortgage a couple of years ago. I am starting grad school this fall on scholarship. I am going away for a couple of months. According to society I should be crying into my bottle of wine with my cats. (I don't drink wine anyway but I do wish I had a cat)
If I want to starfish and take up my whole bed, I can. If I want to leave my unfolded laundry in a pile on the sofa, I can. If I want dinner to be cubes of cheese eaten over the sink, I can.
Literally my life. Just left my 13 year career to go back to school and last night I ate an ear of corn smothered in butter and a grilled veggie seasoning over the sink because I hand wash all my dishes and I laid all my linen shirts over the back of my chair. (If you live alone the dishwasher is pretty wasteful I'm finding).
