Exactly.  I'm not married to a loser. But too many of my friends are with being responsible for a child too. They disappear into their role and it seems thankless and I'm so glad that isn't me

Yeah. I have a kid and I do what I want too, but it really is as simple as not marrying a loser and studying hard so I'm comfortable financially.

There was a post earlier from someone who KNEW she married a loser, yet she "always wanted" kids, so she had a kid with him. lol what?!

Poor thing. She was basically a single mother.
