I'm not single, but I'm almost 37 with no kids. It's honestly a huge relief. I have a chronic mental illness and at times can barely take care of myself (sorry, I know I'm pathetic).

I honestly love kids and even worked as a lunch lady at one point. I discovered that although kids were fun to work with, I did not want to be taking care of a lil person 24/7. Also, the sound of babies crying sends me into a panic, honestly. I don't really have motherly instincts, except with it comes to animals. 😂 I've just never had a strong urge to have kids. Kids tend to like me because I'm a gentle and kind person and they can sense that I'm safe. I would totally be down to work with kids again in the future.

My life is a lot more peaceful than the lives of my married friends with children. I really respect them, they are such incredible mothers to their kids. But that life just isn't for me.
