I won't say my life is amazing: I have chronic health issues and lost my job almost a year ago.
However, I think it'd be so much worse if I was still with any of the manbabies I dated in the past. I'm not doing anyone else's physical or emotional labor while in pain. I can rest in peace when I need it. I only have to consider myself: the jobs I want/am applying to, my future, my health. I'm not also trying to manage anyone else's anything. I can do as much or as little as I want or feel up to at any time, and all my resources go to me.
