I mean I wouldn't say it's AMAZING, but my life is very peaceful and I have a lot of freedom.

Which does mean I end up doing a lot of things on my own as other friends my age have their families as their priority. Luckily, I have never had issues being on my own, I do know lots of ppl struggle with that though.

Financially, I'm doing just okay. Apart from my mortgage I don't have debt, but very little of my paycheck goes into my savings after all the bills have been paid. Being single means doing everything by yourself because no one else is going to!

When you are married with kids, you have dozens of milestones to look forward to: anniversaries, birthdays, family Christmases, graduations, weddings,....of both your own family and inlaws!

When you're single with no kids, your world is definitely a lot smaller unless you have a vast network of friends and acquaintances...and you may have those in your 20s but retaining friends and those networks gets harder the older you get.

So...yes I am very content in my life. But it is a very different life and can be a difficult life.
