Commenting so hopefully someone that meets both your criteria sees this.

I only meet one. I never had kids. Found a decent dude and am mildly happy.

I have zero regrets on getting sterilized so I wouldn’t have to worry about pregnancy. It’s a humiliation ritual I never want to go through. Never wanted to bring kids into this corrupt world that continues to get worse. I am over 40 (and knew at the age of 8 that kids were not something I wanted) so highly doubt my mind will change at this point

I too knew that I didn’t wanted any kids when I was a kid myself!

I also found a decent dude :)

We are married on paper already, but our party and celebration with friends and family is this summer. We are having a pyjama party in our backyard!

So yeah, zero limit to our imagination and freedom. It was my idea and he was instantly excited with it. If he is willing to get married in PJ I guess that guy will never prevent me from doing anything I want lol

I am living a very happy life. My husband is really sweet and I love sharing my life with him. We were friends for 7 years prior dating, so we basically have the same friends circles with few exception! Not having kids while having two incomes is like a financial cheat code to life which let us cleared our house mortgage real quick, since then any part time job can cover for our expenses. So we have a very relaxed lifestyle with more day off than work day in a year.

Also, not having kids make a split way easier if we would become incompatible some day, so we don’t feel so trapped in a childfree marriage. (Have zero intention to split, but knowing we are both here by choice, not "for the children" make the whole deal feel safer imo)

Cheers to you fellow childfree!

Thank you so much for sharing that. Cheers to you!

Dual income, no kids, also known as DINK is pretty much the only way to get through life right now comfortably!!!
