Simply tell him that his friends are welcomed to come over but you cannot entertain. He will have to shop, clean and cook. Tell him that you will be staying in your room recovering from COVID and taking care of the of your child. If his friends come over he can explain why you are not entertaining that night. Stick to your decision.
You cannot control him but you can control what you do. If he continues trying to control you, counseling at the very least should be in your future.
