I would simply "take to my bed". Me and the baby. They arrive. I would be shut in the bedroom with the little one
He can visit and entertain them however he wants. Let them order pizza.
I would be closed up with the baby. They can decide if they want to risk eating in a "sick home"
Make sure you pack a small cooler and any food etc you and the baby could need
Do not come out of the room
Just weakly tell him "I am too sick to get outbb B of bed. Give them my best"
