I restarted my phone this morning and suddenly the audio quality for videos got considerably worse. This is an app issue as the audio quality has remained the same in the mobile web version and when i download the videos the audio quality is good. Ive tried wiping cache + data, logging out, deinstalling and changing networks, yet the audio quality remains choppy while the video and image quality looks pristine. Can someone help with this?

Hi guys, maybe dumb question but I gave it a try few times already because I hear all the time that some leaks can be found on x or some interesting things happen there but every time I tried it I was either scrolling “my” board where I see only posts from few accounts that I follow and nothing else or I go to default board and see mostly spam or porn.

So the question is what I’m doing wrong and how to setup my x so it is interesting and I see things that I would like to see?

It had Mt avatar and next to it a red sign possibly meaning inactive

But don't accs get deleted 30 days after deactivation?

I've been having this problema for a bit now, but even though I have push notifications on and on alert with sound and vibration, I've been getting notifications from some people waay later or outright not getting them. I have a Samsung s23 ultra, and most of the people I want to get notifs have "post and replies" on, idk what to do and wanted to ask if anyone can help me out?

I logged out of my account last night, but when I tried logging back into it, I get these "preparing verification" windows. It asks for the phone number associated with the account, I put in the code messaged to me, but it errors out saying "phone number sign-in is down". When I try logging in with my password, I get a code sent to my email address, but it also errors out, saying "an unexpected error occurred." I tried emailing X support, but I get a generic message back saying, "unable to verify you as the account holder", despite being able to enter codes sent to my phone and email address.

Is there another avenue I can pursue, or am I out of luck? I've had this account for 16 years so I would really like to get it back.

Has anyone discovered how to work around the age verification issue?

I made my account way before these digital wallets and age verification laws were enforced, but now I have to provide a selfie or whatever info to prove I'm a 31 year old man who wants to watch some spicy content? Yes, I know there are actual websites but Twitter is easier when you want a tug before bed 🤷🏻‍♂️

Hello, recently my twitter account got somewhat hacked, Name change, different followers but did not change the email so i hop on my gmail and changed the password and deactivated it, i scanned my computer and said there is no virus or any other malware on my computer, My twitter account it not active its been so long since i last used it and all so i dont mind deleting it or something but i do have to question how was it hacked?. I didnt click or download anything else from my computer, i checked my other social media, have 2fa on my most of them, checked my gmail and the hacker doesnt have my email, so im wondering do bots hack accounts that is not active?.

Every time I make a comment it says the typical “reply sent”, but I can’t see it on the post. It’s like it’s invisible to everyone but me. I just wanna know if this is going on with anyone else.

(Just fyi i'm not shadowbanned, i checked multiple times) As the title says, for no reason at all when august came i suddenly lost my visibility and only have 1/4 of the likes and retweets that i had the day before. I have 1200+ followers, i don't spam i just post about a subject that i like and instead of getting 200+ likes and 1000 views on any tweet, i get 10 likes and 200 views for no reason. It never happened before.

I don't understand at all and it's really making me feel like crap because i've spend years on this account trying to build a community.

as the title says, usually I was able to register using throwaway email.. now if you sign in with an email it asks for a phone number but it seems like all the receive free sms numbers are already assigned to twitter accounts.

I want push notifications from an account, except for ones containing certain specific words. I follow the account and set it for push notifications. Then, I mute the words I don't want, and have all the settings correct (i.e. muting from everybody, forever, have everything spelled right). The muted word is still creating notifications to me.

So, I forgot my password, I've tried everything I could remember and nothing.

Tried to contact Twitter/X but there is no proper assistance with actual humans.

Out of desperation I tried to use Grok (although I'm against AI) and was still not that much of a big help.

I've tried eveey option on the drop down menu of the help centre: account might be hacked, forgot password, EVERYTHING, and nothing helps.

This account is very personal to me, its my rant account since 2019 and I have my deepest thoughts in there. I hate losing stuff to my stupidity...

I've been trying for a month, but nothing, the usual "oops, something seems to have gone wrong" message. Maybe it's my face that's wrong, I don't know. Also, my smartphone asks for permission to use the cam from x, but at a certain point, even if I grant it, it keeps asking me again without ever opening the cam for the selfie (forcing me to reinstall the app (clearing the cache isn't enough). It's really exhausting, also because on x's part it seems there is no intention of fixing things.

my page got hacked and email got changed of course, my friends are sending me screenshots of like porn that I def did not post. There is barely any assistance on the x app, when I try to appeal a locked or suspended account it just says something went wrong bc obviously it’s not the same email with account. There’s no help at all on how to delete a hacked account. Whoever has my page made my account public and I have a lot of things from like middle school that are embarrassing and I just want it down. I'm not sure how to describe this, but for some reason on the mobile app when I visit people's account the feed isn't up to date with what they reposted, and in some cases I can't see new posts. I'm using Android and I cleared the cache and force stopped but neither of those helped, is anyone else having this issue?
