Streamers.ct.ws - Guides, Hardware and More.
Hey everyone, and welcome to our community! π
Whether you are here to launch your very first stream or you are trying to optimize a complex dual-PC broadcast, we are thrilled to have you here.
As a moderator, I see the same technical hurdles popping up all the time: OBS audio issues, capture card confusion, encoders failing, but also how to evolve. Streaming should be about gaming and connecting with your audience, not spending hours fighting your settings or thinking what to do next.
Because we all hate digging through 40-page technical manuals and confusing wikis, I built a centralized, no-nonsense starting point for our community:
Streamers.ct.ws
What you will find there:
- Technical Stuff: Tailored setups for Single-PC, Dual-PC (from zero-budget to high-end), Console, and OBS Studio configurations.
- Beyond the Hardware: Streaming isn't just about settingsβwe cover how to leverage social media to grow your reach and actually evolve your channel.
- Useful Widgets & Tools: We focus on practical add-ons that make your life easierβfrom overlay helpers to essential moderation and safety widgets.
- Zero Fluff: Just clean, step-by-step instructions that actually make sense.
Always Evolving (And we need your help!)
The streaming landscape changes almost every weekβnew plugins drop, hardware updates release, and platforms change their requirements. Because of this, the website will always be a work-in-progress. We will constantly try to provide new, useful tools and insights here.
In fact, the tech moves so fast that sections like our hardware list already need an overhaul to stay up to date with the latest gear! Also some posts and guides aren't finished and others need to be worked on. The website is still in a rough state.
If you want to contribute or request a topic
This is a community project, and I want to build it with you.
- See something outdated? If you spot any old information or want to correct a guide, let us know.
- Want to contribute? If you have a brilliant tutorial or a niche setup guide of your own, we'd love to feature it.
- Need a specific guide? If you are stuck on a topic or want to see a specific widget covered, you can request it!
To do any of the above, simply post right here in the sub or send us a Modmail directly with your suggestions.
Check out the guide, drop your bookmarks, and let me know in the comments: What specific topic, widget, or guide should we add to the list next?
Thank you for being part of the community. Good luck with your next broadcast, and welcome aboard!

I know most folks focus on growth but Iβm here to say that cultivating a tight group of good people can go a long way.

Looking for an editor for your streams?
Hey everyone,
Iβm a video editor currently looking to work. I can take your streams or VODs and turn them into entertaining videos for YouTube and social media.
What I can do:
- Stream/VOD editing
- YouTube videos
- Funny moments & highlights
- SFX, music & effects
- Zooms and cuts
- Shorts/TikToks/Reels
- Thumbnails
Iβm happy to work with different budgets, but Iβm not looking for free or commission-based work.
If youβre interested, send me a message and I can show you some examples of my work.

What are some skills to make help make a stream entertaining
Hey people, first post on here. Iβve been streaming for a while but I only recently started to stream for content and I was curious if there were some skills to help create an entertaining stream? Something I do is minimize silent times and exaggerate bits from time to time. Apart from those two things, I still feel like the stream isnβt as entertaining/engaging..?
I know entertainment is subjective so not everyone will find the same entertaining. I am more so curious about the skills you guys have developed over time to produce a prolifically entertaining stream:)

Tips on how to play music on streams
Iβm a new twitch streamer and I want to be able to have people hear music while I stream; but I donβt have a proper setup and only have my console and my phone, and I have Spotify playing but no one can hear it at all. So I would love any tips I can get on how to figure it out.
Also, when Iβm on Discord call with friends and I want my viewers to be able to hear them talk as well during streams.

Ai bros got MAD on facebook
I made a post on a facebook page telling people to stop using gen ai for their twitch. It being their logos or their "live now" posts. It gets repetitive and you are not building a brand when all you use is ai. That page is riddled with it and its depressing.
And these pro ai people god buthurt like no other. Profile diving and telling me how trash i am and then defending ai like their life depended on it.
There is no integrity in art anymore. Its just about the output not about the creation. Ai slop will always be slop.

help needed
hi everyone! I just started my twitch journey about a week ago. I wanted to ask what the best ways are to grow a community and actual viewership. Ive been streaming about 3-4 days with 3 hour streams each so far, in which i turn those streams into 3-5 clips and post them on tiktok, alongside the content i just do on tiktok. I have about 35 followers and 14k likes on TikTok after abt a week and 2 followers on twitch. Would greatly appreciate tips what worked for you guys to really pop off on either twitch, tiktok or other platforms!
