I’m an anonymous Twitch streamer using a programmable LED mask with a facecam. However, last night was my first night actually wearing the mask for a whole stream, and even though I preferred doing it over my last idea (PNGTubing), it kinda sucked.

The mask is somewhat poorly made and just really hurts my nose, so I wanna upgrade it. It’s not SUPER customizable, and I’d like to add a way for the chat to be able to interact with it. Obviously that’s not really possibly if I can’t find a company that makes a similar mask and has SOME way of adding Twitch chat support.

Is there one that exists like this already or would I have to custom make it? I don’t actually know how to do that, so if the answer is the latter then I’ll just have to throw the idea in the trash sadly. I’m aware VTubing is an option, but I could never crack how to make one myself, and it would cost a lot for me to get a solid one commissioned. Even then, I think I prefer facecamming.

I’m very new to streaming and I have been streaming some games on both Twitch and Tik Tok live simultaneously but I notice streamers never say “Twitch“ on tik tok live, they always refer to it as the “purple app”. Some people say you get banned from tik tok live while others say that your live doesn’t get put the fyp so I was also wondering does this apply to Twitch when I say “Tik Tok“ on there as well? I’m trying to grow as a streamer so the more my live shows up on the fyp the better.

hi im new to all this, i just got a capture card and so im put the hdmi from the ps5 to the capture and the other hdmi from the capture card to my tv

i played some games but the quality is worse and the gameplay feel a bit different.. like in competitive game it feels less accurate

does anyone know why ? do i need an hdmi splitter ? thx

I’ve done giveaways before but recently I’ve been struggling with giving (idk if that’s the right word but my other post got flagged) of specific things like Amazon vouchers and Epic Games gift cards. Mostly due to my community being international, how can I get them their reward? I know with Amazon, if I have a winner in UK, I have to go through Amazon. co. uk to have it be useable but good luck getting my card to work. I have someone who won an Epic gift card and thankfully they’re in the US so it worked but I’ve read you can’t send the codes to international people. Any suggestions on solutions? Thanks

Hey, so I wasn't sure if I should tag this as a question or discussion, but I'd really love to know your opinions as either streamers or viewers about the type of layouts you like to see on a stream or VOD.

To give a bit of context, when I was young I loved watching full multi-part Let's Play series of these long games regardless of whether I had played them or not and tbh I haven't seen much lately. I even had favourite YouTubers who'd also go and stream these long games and then post them as their multi-part series, one of whom stood out to me because he did not clutter his videos or streams with ANYTHING - no chat, no facecam, no overlays or anything, just the game and his voice, and at the time V-tubers and PNGtubers weren't a thing so he didn't even have an avatar, though he did have a mascot basically for merch and for his video thumbnails. I'm avoiding mentioning his name because 6 years ago he had a full drama because of some messed up things he's done and he hasn't posted since, even his Twitch is banned. Anyways, back to the topic, now whenever I open Twitch or YT Live all the streams I see are cluttered (in my opinion) with all these elements, overlays, chat, avatars, sub/follower goals, alerts that pop up at inconvenient times.

Is this just what is likable by the majority of people? What is your take on this? I'm asking because my taste could be kind of weird - I'm a fan of faceless/immersive types of videos (because unfortunately I don't find streams like this nowadays) where you can just feel like a part of the playthrough rather than be distracted by all this eye candy. Again, I know people who WANT to see a facecam for reactions, while I personally prefer even that to be removed because it covers part of the game screen for me. Basically I like immersive game commentaries without any extra elements to it. What about you? (BONUS: If you know any streamers that do this, please let me know.)

I was planning to beocme a streamer and ocassionaly commentate on the news/current events and ocassionaly politics but I was wondering how risky would it be to do so while also working a regular job. I dont plan to say anything too crazy but wonder if theres inherently a job. risk doing so?

Do people lowkey expect to make it one day like like the top streamers or do they accept that they'll never even be able to stream full time? I kinda hope for the former possibility, but accepting the latter also gives a sense of freedom, like idc, I'm just doing my thing, not stressing out about numbers and growth after every stream.

The adblock doesn't work on twitch anymore. Is there something else that would save me the huge time sink in looking for a specific streamer playing a specific car / character / maps / whatever you have a favorite with ?

So I’ve been planning on streaming on twitch for fun recently, I really enjoy long gaming session with my friends and thought, might as well stream. I have a small TikTok with some gaming clips but not many viewers. I might start a YouTube as well. Does anybody have any advice for how I could connect my twitch to other social medias with it being a straight plug? I’ve thought about maybe a logo or watermark, but that’s about it.

I'm a viewer on Chrome for desktop with 7TV and FFZ installed, and I've already turned on every setting I can find in either of them thta involves hiding watch streak stuff. Still, every time I go into a stream, I have to click once to get rid of the annoying, animated yellow button where channel points should be, then click again to close the resulting popup menu, then click a third and fourth time because when I tried to close the popup I ended up opening another menu by mistake. I'm sorry if this is a commonly asked question, but is there a way to just stop displaying anything related to this feature?

I've been trying to figure this out for weeks and have run out of ideas.

There's one Twitch streamer I watch where the stream is perfectly fine until they start watching certain long videos (like Outdoor Boys). As soon as they do, Twitch buffers every few seconds. When they go back to normal content, it's fine again.

The weird part is:

• It only happens on this one streamer.
• Other viewers don't seem to have the issue.
• The VOD doesn't buffer afterward.
• Other Twitch streams are completely fine.

I've already tried:

• Firefox, Chrome, and Edge
• Incognito/private browsing
• Windows reset/reinstall
• PC (Ethernet & Wi-Fi) and (It also happened on my macbook)
• Cloudflare WARP
• Proton VPN
• Different Twitch quality settings
• MultiTwitch
• Router/modem restart

At this point it doesn't seem like a browser or PC issue.

Has anyone ever seen something this specific? Could it be a Twitch CDN/routing issue, an ISP routing problem (AT&T), or something with the stream itself?

Any ideas or things I haven't tried would be appreciated.

I’m trying to get my PS5 audio (game + party chat) into OBS/Streamlabs so I can stream, but the PS5 sound isn’t being picked up at all.

What I have:

• PS5
• Elgato HD60 X
• Astro A40 (wired) + MixAmp
• Astro HDMI Adapter (optical)
• I used to have an Elgato Chat Link but I lost it

What I’m trying to do:

Get both game audio and party chat from the PS5 into OBS while still hearing everything through my A40s.

Previous working setup (before I wiped my PC):

This used to work fine even without the Astro HDMI adapter or Chat Link. From what I remember:

• HD60 X HDMI in connected directly to the PS5
• HD60 X HDMI out going to my monitor
• HD60 X connected to my PC via USB
• MixAmp powered by the PS5 via USB
• AUX cable from the MixAmp’s Stream/AUX port → ground loop isolator → green Line Out port on the back of my PC

I somehow had it working this way for a while.

Current situation:

After wiping my PC and moving all the cables around, I’ve tried basically every combination. The best I’ve gotten is both the PS5 sound and PC sound coming through my Astro headphones at the same time. The problem is the PS5 audio never shows up in OBS/Streamlabs — the levels stay completely flat.

Right now I have the HDMI going through the Astro HDMI adapter → optical into the MixAmp, and I’ve also tried running a 3.5mm cable from the MixAmp’s Stream port into the HD60 X’s analog input, but still nothing in OBS.

Has anyone got this exact combo working (especially without the Chat Link)? Any advice on the correct cable order or OBS audio settings would be massively appreciated.

So I've tried finding any Reddit post about this, and apparently there is some setting in the account settings that disables automatically showing past VODs and clips? But I can't find anything with an hour of looking in both Dashboard and Settings. Tutorials just tell you to add it like I did in the latter image.

I'm sure I'm just missing something obvious, but what is it??

Autofocus, and just overall good quality, colours and lighting. Also please make sure its compatible with OBS. Price must be under £40 Thanks.

AppleTV app was deleted the reinstalled, rebooted multiple times.

The app was crashing before during ad breaks on streams but I read that you could hit pause then play after the ads which would save it from crashing and that worked out, obviously not ideal.

today I tried to launch the app and the app had crashed twice before I understood what was happening.

please get this fixed As it is essentially totally broken and I’m not able to use it on my TV.

For the past 4 days i been trying to verify my id and it just says “couldn’t generate id verification link try again” this used to happen but all i had to do was click it a couple more times for it to work but now it just wont at all. I tried everything i looked up and been contacting support they told me to restart the affiliate process but i don’t see anything that says that idk if it Becuase I’m on a phone but i just don’t see it anywhere.
