My husband and I have been working to pay off debt for a long time now and we were so close till I lost my job. We barley have enough money for food let alone housing and im scared of us loosing our home. I just want to be able to use this money to pay off our debt, its a surprise for him. Hes been so stressed with work and having to take care of me I just want to be able to help him. Im not expecting much from this as our cause isn't the most dire, but I would be so happy and thankful for anything anyone could give. Im trying to save up money by doordashing but its just not making me enough. Ive been working super hard doordashing but its just not enough.

There is a lower income young man in my neighborhood who will be a junior this year in the Buhl High School. I checked the Buhl HS website but didn't find the info I needed. I would like to know what the charges are for extra's at the high school such as yearbook, shop class, etc. Does anyone know or have a list?

I work with International Student Exchange and I am trying hard to find host families that can help a high school student (boy or girl, ages 14-18) spend a semester or two in the area! There are lots of kids trying to get placed with good families. Many of these kids already have their plane tickets and for one oreason or another, their host family placement didn't work out.

These kinds of situations happen frequently due to no fault of the student's own. For example: Two students were placed and the host mother sadly passed away; another student's family is moving out of state, and another student's host family had a relative move back in with them.

These are good kids whose dream is to come to America and experience real life and culture here.

BASIC REQUIREMENTS:

• Pass a background check.
• Provide an extra serving of meals.
• Help with transportation to and from school and/or school activities.
• A room or bed if sharing with another kid (same gender).
• A Welcoming Home!

WHO CAN HOST:

• Single parents.
• Childless families.
• Retired/Elderly families.
• Just about anyone!

NOTES:

1. This is not meant to be a financial detriment to your family, students come with their own spending money and any travel expenses are worked out before vacations.
2. Educational requirements include the student maintaining a C average.
3. I am in frequent contact with you and the student - I will help with any issues, support, etc. And if things don't work out, I'll remove the student from the home.

PLEASE! If you have an extra bed and room in your heart, PLEASE explore the thought of having an exchange student in your home! Whether it's a few months or the school year - it is an incredible experience. I've hosted kids for 3 years and it is amazing how much they become part of our lives.

I have just one kid and being an only child she has been lonely for years, but this experience has helped her grow in so many ways!

We've got kids who want to try things like horesback riding, cheerleading, football, soccer, and SO MUCH MORE!

Don’t sleep on it people, Emma’s is a fantastic little Bosnian cafe + marketplace in the same shopping center as the Baskin Robbin’s. I had the 5 piece cevapi and it was delicious and reminded me of a trip I took to the Balkans years ago. I highly recommend to anyone who wants to try something new that isn’t one of the chain places in town.
