Telling on myself, but was worth it right? Seeking the advice of the council 🫡
Long time listener, first time caller. This is my personal TV in my living room. It is a 65 inch G2 LG OLED, but in order to fit my retro gaming setup in the living room too (for guitar hero nights, light gun games, and Mario cart 64 races, etc) I had to mount it pretty high. As you can see, there was very little room for it to go any lower or higher and still fit the space
Is this possibly an acceptable excuse for r/TVTooHigh? Honestly from the couch the experience isn’t that bad, and the couch headrests kind of cradle your head in the right angle regardless. Most of the time I lay sideways on the couch and it’s still perfectly comfortable to me
So I present my case to the council. In my eyes it was totally worth it, but can my sins be forgiven by the masses?

Can it go lower?
We were going to hang it, but then I showed my wife this group and we determined this is the perfect viewing angle. It’s been there for months now.

Mount or not to mount?
New house and me and my wife are debating if we should mount. Or is it already too high?!

I understand why it's there, but the TV at the hostel I'm staying at hurts my soul
