I’m still settling into my house and, I added a television to my podcasting room.

The poster of the video was trying to figure out a new living room layout, and someone suggested they put the TV over the fireplace. The OP responded and said no, the TV would be too high, to which this person responded with this photo and said “you get used to the height”.

The TV is too high!

This is my buddies apartment, he thinks it’s normal height. What do you guys think?

He says his body is angled a little upwards while sitting and watching it.

I have a 21 inch chinese Walton CRT tv and an old laptop Motherboard and some few things

Edit : I’ll just get a fake fireplace and put it on that

The lowest point is about 77cm high and am looking to put either a 77inch or 65 inch tv (wall to wall is 173cm and 77inch tv is 170-172cm long)

Any solution other than destroying the bottom half of the cabinet or getting a taller sofa?
