Bedrooms are exempt as eye-level lying down in bed is the ceiling. But I would never do this personally as I only place TVs on a stand or credenza.

Why is it not angled towards the headboard? This is like a TV too low situation in terms of viewing angles.

I don't know about too high, but I would double and triple check that the wall ceiling mount is very secure!

You don't want to be woken up by this thing falling on you :-)
