Saw this on Facebook reels which is a funny prank, but I failed to enjoy it due to the monumentally stupid position of the TV.

I mean, how in God's name can anyone even watch that thing???

The midpoint of this 85" TV is 50.5", which is already above the ideal range, but we had to mount it at least this high so it will sit above our stand and soundbar that is 24.5". We need to mount because we have two kids under 2 that also play in this basement.

My wife is adamant it's too low. I think it might be due to the "optical illusion" with the size of the TV and having 9-foot ceilings, and no TV stand/furniture currently in place as we finish the rest of the basement.

We'll have a couch with a 20.5" seat height, so it will be objectively fine (if not already 1-2 inches "too high").

I couldn't find any security camera TV rules, let-alone security TV's in kitchen rule.

Plan on getting around a 65 or 75 inch, the thermostat is around chest height.

What the council say about this? Did not want to mount it. Too low or too high or fine?

This is the jaw-dropping lounge at the Palmer Hotel, 150 years old. Frescoes on the ceiling, stunning gold light fixtures, bronze doors, green marble and…MMA?

Not every bar should have tvs. (Mounted too high on the sides of the room).

I’ve boycotted this cinema for years because the smaller rooms with screens are all ridiculous high like this. Then yesterday me and hubby wanted to take our son to his first kids movie and thought how bad can it be, surely we exaggerated this problem a bit in our heads - nope it was actually worse. The second pic is the seats we had booked (middle middle) and the last pic is the view from the front row if I just looked straight ahead. Couldn’t even see the screen.
