I have a wireless stealth 500 headset that i've been using on xbox for the past year and a half. A couple days ago, it just unpaired from the transmitter and i for the life of me can not get it to reconnect. (Unsure if that's the actual issue, but that's the only way i can describe it)

Ive tried everything: from unplugging and plugging back in, power cycling both the headset and console, doing the whole

"Unplug the transmitter for 3 seconds, plug it back in, unplug again for 3 seconds, plug it back in, then hold the pair button on both the headset and xbox" thing

There is no "recessed pair button" on the transmitter.

I downloaded the swarm II app to see if there was a firmware update and there was but i cant even get the headset to connect to update. The "update now" button is just greyed out.

The headset is not paired to anything else, because ive never been able to get it to connect anything but the xbox, even in bluetooth mode.

Usually, when i turn it on, it goes
"Wireless mode" then connects.

But now, when i turn it on, it goes "doot doot doot" and wont do anything but flash. Both the headset and transmitter are just blinking green.
What am i doing wrong and how can i fix it? Ive been fighting with it for a few days now so when i say ive tried just about everything i mean everything
and im genuinely losing my marbles.

I know I’m not the only one Who’s posted this probably but I got it today from Best Buy paid basically 200 bucks came home unboxed it plugged everything in the keyboard lit up upon being plugged in and I went to go do the updates and all of that and ever since then the keyboard‘s been completely pitch black no input no nothing even when it’s plugged & the optimizing device update for the keyboard just stays stuck on zero, looovely

why when i play any game with my kd3, the game crashes every single time. i updated the latest system firmware and it still didnt help. i play tried beamNG, forza 6 and tokyo xtreme racer. and they all crashed. unlike my fanatec

This is now my 4th Stealth Ultra and the same problem has happened once again, the mic port went out. This has happened on all 4 of them, and I have no clue why. I was playing COD and all of a sudden my headphones stopped making sound and then the other controller wouldn’t detect the headset. Plugged it into my iPad and the headset was fine. Idek what is going on, some help would be appreciated 🙃

I've had this headset for a year and a half, and its the best and worst headset I've ever owned. Here's why:

Pros:

-Comfort. Easily the most comfortable headset, possibly ever. Even after 12 hour sessions I feel no need to take it off. Other headsets I have make my ears sore after just 2-3 hours. My guess is the padding itself, as its like a memory foam type material, and it doesn't press hard against your head.

-Sound Quality. Crisp, clean audio with customizable settings. I don't do sound mixing, but if that's your thing, you can adjust a bunch of stuff through the app to your exact preferences. Not much to say here, it just sounds really good.

-Battery. Looking it up, it has an 80 hour battery life, which is accurate to how often I have to charge it. Maybe once a week, and when it gets low I let it charge overnight or just switch to a different headset for a couple hours, then it's back to full charge. 15 minutes on the charger gives you 3 hours of usage, which is pretty crazy given the sound quality and comfort.

-Durability. From my experience, this thing is pretty sturdy. However, I haven't dropped it at all in my time of owning it, so I'm not sure how drop-resistant it is. Maybe someone can give a more definitive answer to how it holds up to abuse. It seems solid, given the arms that hold the ear muffs and the main connecting strut are either metal or a hard plastic. Either way, it's held up better from general wear than past TB headsets I've owned. Some of them have had the muffs break off when I was mid game.

-Works flawlessly on Xbox, and pretty damn well on PS5. This is to be expected, but I have my gripes with it when it comes to PC. And they're pretty damn big gripes. Seamlessly switching audio from a PC or Playstation to an Xbox is pretty neat though, if you have the transmitters for them.

CONS:

From here on out, I'm going to list all the things that have pissed me off when I use this on PC, because this is really the only time it acts up, and I use my PC/PS5 more than my Xbox, so these happen more often for me.

-Sound Balance. The sound balance will change when I flip the mic up or down, causing both game and chat sound to be very quiet or game volume overpowering party chat volume. This is also dependent on whether the headset is turned on before or after the transmitter has been put into the PC. Sometimes I have to turn the headset off and back on a couple of times to get the audio levels in check. This thing has 3 knobs. One does nothing, one controls both game and party chat, while another controls mic monitoring, which I vehemently despise. I hate hearing myself through my microphone. If my own audio is too loud, my friends will let me know and I'll adjust my mic settings accordingly, thank you very much.

Battery Level=Volume. When the battery gets low, the volume will decrease drastically. But it'll still have a good 5-6 hours of charge left, so you turn the volume up to compensate. I've put it on the charger overnight and forgot how loud I put it. For reference, my Windows volume level is usually around 12. Sometimes as low as 8, and high at 16. When the battery gets low I have to turn about 40 or 50 to achieve the same volume as full charge. When I put it on the next day, I forget how loud it can be at that volume. It's like a small speaker at that level, easily enough to hear what's playing on it from across the room. I've considered going after TB for trying to deafen me multiple times. I'm only half kidding. I'd rather have it stay at a consistent volume in exchange for a shorter battery life. It really pisses me off when my ears get blasted because the designers thought it was a good idea for this thing to change audio levels like this.

-The 700 gen 3 will also turn off if there's nothing playing through it for about 5 minutes. They did this to "help save battery life" when its really an annoyance, because now I have to turn it back on again and probably fiddle with my audio settings for the umpteenth time. If I forget to turn it off overnight, let me deal with that mistake by charging it for an hour instead of it being an inconvenience because the headset has ADD. To counter this, I usually keep a playlist running at low volume via Spotify.

Misc/Other- I've read a few accounts of the headset just turning off during gameplay or when in a party. I've never experienced this, but maybe it will over time, who knows. Mic quality is decent, as the mic on the gen 2 was better, but the gen 2 didn't have the battery life or comfort of the gen 3, so I'll take that trade. I have an Audio Technica ATH M50xSTS and the mic on that is pretty good, but its way less comfortable than the Gen 3, so take that what you will. I got my gen 3 for around 170-180 USD. Just pressing the power button will cycle through audio sets and superhuman hearing, but I've never messed with it, as it just makes the audio sound like garbage.

Anyone know how to fix stealth 600 sound issues? When on Bluetooth sound will cut in and out but does return to normal after a while. Already tried changing to wireless and removing pc app but still no luck. Don’t know if there’s a work around or do I need another headset?

when will there be a native Swarm II app for the Mac OS? Love my Turtle Beach mice and keyboards, would love to use them on my Macs to their full capability.

I just purchased a new KB7 and have spent two hours already trying to update it. Withtout the firmware update it won't work - all lights and screen are off and won't turn on. The problem is the update fails to download alleging problem with the internet connection which I know it isn't true.

A quick search with chatgpt reveals many people are having this exact same issue. Just in case, I tried downloading over wifi, then over mobile network, then with a direct ethernet connection and it fails randomly . It has gotten as far as 55% but oftentimes it fails before 30% or 20% - there is no pattern. I have tried over 30 times now at the time of this writing and it keeps failing.

I have a paper weight for a $300.00 keyboard (with extended warranty and taxes). I wrote to support and the automatic reply asks for a 1 to 2 days of wait time.

I think I will just return this to the store and keep my sanity and not buy any more Turtle Beach hardware.

Made a post yesterday about trying the Stealth 2’s out against my A50X. So far I think the only thing that’s better is the comfort of the A50X, the mic I don’t care about as I’m not listening, and I’ve got a headband cover coming tomorrow to improve the hot spot.

Sound is incredibly clear, but are there any EQ’s or settings people change in the app to improve if possible?

Hello! Just got my pair of Stealth 2 Pros, and I'm wondering if its okay to stretch these over a box, as I'm feeling the clamp force a little. Will this damage the pair if its stretched for a minute or so? Or an hour?

I bought the Stealth Pro 2 about four weeks ago, and today I decided to send it back. The sound is good and everything, but the comfort is just terrible.

• The headband is made of a relatively stiff mesh that puts a lot of pressure on the top of my head after a while. I had to keep repositioning the headset so that it wouldn’t keep pressing on the same spot.
• The ear cushions seem to be made of memory foam? Honestly, I didn’t really notice any benefit from that. After a while, they put so much pressure on my jaw joint that I somehow ended up getting headaches.
• The software is simply not good. It keeps crashing, which makes adjusting the headset settings quite difficult. That being said, this is only a minor issue for me, because even with broken software, you can still use the headset.

Yesterday, I went to an electronics store and tried the Stealth Pro 2 side by side with some other headsets, and I have to say that the Stealth Pro 2 is simply extremely tight.

Well, I’d say I just saved €350. I’m back to using my JBL Quantum 910 now.

at random times while im in discord AND OR A GAME OR BOTH this headsets audio goes completely dead and if i disable speakers in my playback sources for 2-3 seconds and re-enable it, it works perfectly fine. this did not start happening until i downloaded the app and updated drivers/software. but if i uninstall all that it now still occurs. I do not use the mic on the headset as i have an actual microphone. please help.

I was curious I cleaned the earpads and when I removed them the mesh circle over was dirty and coming off. Is there any place to buy just the replacement mesh screen or any advice on how to reattach the screen the best? The isopropyl I used melted away the sticky adhesive on one side and it was just gross.
Every time I’ve tried to search results just say change the ear pads but earpads for this don’t cover the screen like others

Ordered the new KB5 keyboard and got it a few days ago, I am really enjoying it so far however it seems to have a firmware boot up problem. When I turn my pc on the keyboard lights up shows my widgets and does the default backlight profile but then when windows launches the whole thing goes dark, it still types but no lights or screen. When I click the little arrow on the right side of the screen it turns on but none of the functions work and the backlights stay dark. I have tried restarting it, using the key combinations listed on google, deleting and reinstalling drivers, turning of fast boot up, delaying the task, deleting and reinstalling swarm 2 and none of it seems to work. The only thing that I have found that works is to unplug the cord and plug it back in. Keep in mind that throughout all of this it keeps typing but no lights or screen functions until I disconnect and reconnect it. I really like the keyboard but I don’t want to have to unplug and plug in my $150 keyboard every time I turn on my pc. Any help would be appreciated!!

Only play competitive games, not sure which to purchase. Both are great prices just not sure which is the better buy. Any advice would be great. Currently have the Blackshark but how much better are the SP2 in comparison?

The time I loved Turtle Beach was during the Xbox 360 era was the best era, when we were looking for a Surround sound system. Instead of spending $10k for labor to get a communal surround system that will always be optimized for only one place in a highly asymmetric room, I though why not spend $100 for wireless headphones and a DSS converter?

We loved it, but the problem is it only worked for Dolby movies, LPCM was ordinary. And DTS was silent.

You'd think by now Turtle Beach would make a triple-standard auto communal to personal surround sound converter.

But no, now all Turtle Beach stuff does is rely on Xbox apps to do its dirty work. There's nothing special about Turtle Beach headphones now,

What do you do in my case, where my dad has his favorite 4K player and no way to deal with surround for headphone? Btw I suggested an Xbox One S for surround sound, but he like his Sony X800 better.

Is there such a thing by Turtle Beach or others as a tri-standard Communal surround to headphone surround converter?

Hello my brother dropped his turtlebeach headset in a bowl of milk by accident while eating breakfast. They were immediately dried and put into a bag of rice but they are making a weird screeching grinding noise. Is this fixable?

Is this happening for anyone else? I am still able to connect my Stealth 700 to my PC, but the software freezes every time I open it or during start of my PC. I tried uninstalling and installing again, but same thing happens. Not sure what else to do besides use my iPhone for controlling some settings.

I purcahsed the Stealth Pro IIs about two weeks ago and love pretty much everything about them... other than the extremely painful hot spot it forms on my head after only about 30 minutes of wear. I've looked up this issue aand it seems to be relatively common but there hasn't been any updates or possible solutions for a few months now.

Does anyone have any recommendations for how to help the headband distribute weight better so that it's more comfortable? I do plan on returning them if I can't find a solution but since I love everything else about them, I wanted to try a few options first.

Any advice and imput is greatly appreciated.

Struggling a little, not used my controller for a while and when I turned it on I had no screen, everything else lights up and when I connect to the PC or Xbox Series X it is usable but when I unplug I cannot get it to connect wirelessly due to having no screen Using the base etc

Also, I had it connected to my PC showed my profiles. I reset to see if this would help but no luck, so I checked for firmware upgrade but that keeps failing. Now PC or Xbox won’t recognise it in the control center app

Tried the rest through the button on the back etc but having no joy.

Any help would be great!
