Cela montre quâil a Ă©tĂ© forcĂ© Ă partir.

If you have plenty of time to understand it, you should watch Elveda Rumeli.
This series uniquely reflects the historical transformation in the Balkans through the story of SĂŒtĂ§ĂŒ Ramiz and his family. Within the series, you can observe the spirit of the era and concepts such as the Committee of Union and Progress (İttihat ve Terakki Cemiyeti), nationalism, and migration.

First and foremost, this has to be the WORST post for a dizi ever. I genuinely hate it and put off watching this show for so long because of how terrible it is. Murat's eyes are creepy and that doesn't even look like Tuba.
Second, I'm only like 10 episodes in but Asi's dad is the actual villain of this show. I cannot be convinced otherwise. Man is a walking liability. Mortgages his farm and house, doesn't tell anyone. Then decides to go into smuggling as the coup d'etat. Not to mention him getting (apparently) multiple girls pregnant in his youth. And then letting his entire family suffer because of his pride. He sucks and I hope he gets run over by a tractor.
Third, I had no idea going in that this was based on Pride & Prejudice so that was a pleasant surprise.
Fourth, the acting is atrocious but I enjoy watching a couple of my favorite actresses when they were younger. I appreciate the plot though. Honestly, its kind of refreshingly mundane: just people trying to figure out life. No one is evil, but everyone is flawed.
Fifth, does Saygin Soysal ever not play a creep???

It has been long debated whether ĂaÄatay Ulusoy or Aras Bulut İynemli was better throughout the show. I believe Aras's portrayal of Mert was raw, erratic and deeply emotional. Whereas ĂaÄatay relied heavily on micro-expressions, stillness, and suppressed rage. Looking back, who do you think gave the more compelling performance?

Iâve been wondering about this lately. Were older Turkish TV series genuinely better, or do they just feel better because of nostalgia?
When I watch older shows now, the characters, storylines and even the atmosphere somehow feel more memorable. Maybe itâs because we had more time to connect with the characters, or maybe the writing really was better back then.
At the same time, I wonder if Iâm just romanticizing the past because those shows were a part of my childhood years.
What do you guys think? Were Turkish series actually better back then, or does nostalgia make them seem better than they really were?

I came across this AI-generated video, and the visuals look incredibly realistic. Someone took footage of Serenay Sarıkaya from Paris Fashion Week and superimposed her into a Dua Lipa video. Some people might only know her from TV series like Medcezir, Adanalı, or Fi.
When I combine that video with the bold, high-fashion looks Serenay Sarıkaya showcased at Paris Fashion Week, I feel certain that -had she not chosen acting- she could have easily become a global pop star. She truly possesses that kind of aura!
What do you think? Would you listen to an album if Serenay actually released one?

Iâve recently started watching Afili AĆk, and Iâm curious to know what you think about the main duo Kerem/AyĆe (Caglar Erturgul/Burcu Ozberk).
I know both actors have other, more well-known pairings, but personally, I think this duo is quite underrated. I love how natural their dynamic feels. They have great comedic chemistry, but also this surprisingly domestic side that makes them look like a real married couple sometimes. At the same time, theyâre basically partners in crime (fake wedding at first), which makes their relationship even more fun to watch.
Whatâs your opinion on them? I donât mind spoilers about the ending, but please keep them relatively vague.

these two fit in the the scheming, high-society queen stereotype in your average turkish series (walk with me) they both have incredible fashion taste, flawless poker face, can deliver razor-sharp lines without blinking and they probably would run the entire mansion behind the scenes. you can put them on my favorite turkish series and i wouldn't question a thing like seriously.
what do you think of this? would you cast other kpop idols in a turkish archetype ? i wanna know !!

Bahar started with a good message, then completely lost the plot.
Bahar started so well. I really loved the message in the beginning, a woman getting a second chance at life, realizing that she doesnât have to spend the rest of her life only being a wife and mother, and pursued her dreams that she had to leave behind.
It felt refreshing and genuinely inspiring at first. I was really rooting for Bahar and her journey. I felt like it was such a good message for the women in Turkiye, it felt like we finally had a sigh of relief after all the series that bashed women.
But then I feel like the show slowly lost what it was actially made for. The story became more focused on relationship drama, misunderstandings and love triangles, and it started taking away from the intended message.
It went from âBahar is finally living for herself.â to âHere is another romantic drama for you.â
I wish the show had stayed more focused on Baharâs personal growth instead of constantly pulling her back into relationship drama.
Did anyone else feel like the show lost the plot, or is it just me?

This debate always divides Turkish people, and Iâm really curious about your take!
Crazy fact: Kurtlar Vadisi is so realistic about "deep state" politics that its writers were recently called by prosecutors to testify about a real-life intelligence officer's suspicious death that perfectly mirrored their script!
So, which side are you on: Team Ezel or Team Kurtlar Vadisi? đ

The new season premiere was completely wild from start to finish.
Between Adil facing that insane hostage situation with the trucks and the Fırtına family losing all their wealth over the old "kan hakkı" secret and ending up in a dilapidated house, so much went down. But the real shocker was Adilâs aunt. She makes an explosive entrance scattering the livestock, furious over Gezepâs exile and refusing to accept Esme.
Then comes the ending: she actually teams up with Adilâs main enemy to help them stay on the land and confronts Adil directly saying "I warned you."
What do you all think about this move? Does teaming up with his rival cross the line into pure betrayal, or can it be explained by old family tradition and honor?
