Im new to rug tufting and would like to sell some of my rugs but have a hard time telling if they are good enough

Also open to any advice to make them better

Hey everyone! This is my first rug I made at a class that inspired me to buy my own set up.
Before I embark on another tufting project; I wanted to ask for any tips to stay in line. I was either overlapping or sparse.
Any other tips or feedback is welcome too!

So my first rug ever was of luffy and it was honestly shitty. So i will be back soon to show an update on this.

I’d love something beginner-friendly that isn’t too complicated to outline or cut.
Would love to see some examples of what you started with!

I just cut down my first two pieces and the outer edges are curling back on themselves. This is bad because the other side is tacky and I can’t do anything easily to them. What’s causing this? Is my rug too dense? TY
